Contract dated 11/04/2021 for roof replacement @ 619 Colonial Rd. SW Abingdon, VA by Weather Tamer, 1728 Old Gray Station Rd. Johnson City TN phone 423 582 4741, specialist in Window, Siding and Roofing, did not get completed as of this date. I contacted Mike Howerton, contractor, multiple times about the problem during 2022 and as of this date, no attempt to comply. The roofers did not complete the roofing job leaving the old singles on the west berm of the house and not replacing them with new asphalt shingles.Business response

I purchased a metal roof, and few other things. Well Mr. ******** had metal roof installed and few other things. Mr. ******** did leave a 6X6 to be wrapped with vinyl, and the side front facing, to be changed. Also, he will not give me a detailed receipt of the final of the job. I need this, I have called him, and his showroom several times. Those few items outstanding he told me he would do this verbally, and I trusted him so I paid him.Business response

We are not part of gutter contract, Mr Guidry understood about the post by gutter company and Weather Tamer. We are going to send one of our employees to wrap the post.Initial Complaint

May 2021 had a sliding glass door installed by Weather Tamers. The installer was showing us how to open and close the blinds and one side would only go up part way. He attempted to fix it without success and said he would tell Mike H.about the problem. It has been almost a year and nothing has been done. Numerous phone calls with promises to have Mike call us. Mike did call a few times and came out once to look at the door. He had us give him I'd number from the bottom of the glass and stated he would call us the next day after he contacted the manufacture. He has not contacted us since even though we have called the office manager many times.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/21) */ Mr and Mrs Brotherton, This complaint is correct. We contacted the manufacture (Pella Vinyl & Patio Door. The customer was to contact them. It appears they did not. We contacted Pella today and they are emailing trouble guide. Customer will be contacted as soon email. receive. I will update by first of week.
