I had a paver patio put in around May of 2021. I put down a deposit of $2,825.00 and the check was cashed on 5/14/2021. The company came out to put the patio in and then I paid the rest of the amount of $2,625.00 and the check was cashed on 5/27/2021 for a total of $5,450.00 for the patio. I called the company and had to asked them to come back out and add more sand material between the bricks as they did not add enough and were very stingy. I have also had to call the company more than 7 times now to come back out and repair the step down from the house because the bricks were not secure and were lose which is a safety hazard. I had to have them fix another section of the patio as I could pull them bricks up because they were not secure either. This seemed to be an issue for the company and fixing the patio was never a priority and I was always pushed aside because they had other jobs to do, rather than make an issue that has taken almost a year to get corrected, right. I always had to wait a week or more to get them to come back out to take care of this issue. They tried to fix it by adding mortar, however that didn't work, & they had to come back out. At this time, I asked if we can just redo the whole step and I was told no, he's just going to try glue again & see if that works. Now I have a gap between the top bricks and side bricks w mortar hanging out and it's not aesthetically pleasing. Instead of the owner speaking to me prior to leaving after the repair, I just received a text message saying to stay off of it for a week and that if this doesn't work, then oh well there's nothing they can do. The patio is also sloping really bad in one spot which does not look good at all. Additionally, over the holidays I was out of town and asked the owner, who did my patio, call me & I was refused a call & told he would be out to fix it. I left a note under a brick for the owner to call me and I never once received call.
