We purchased the unit from Lowes and the contractor was Derryberrys Heat and Air. The first sign of trouble was they gave us a until other than the one we ordered and promised it was a good deal. Second, we had difficulty with the unit within one year. When we called them back, they indicated that we were not in their catchment area. They came out, diagnosed a problem and charged us a large sum. Each time we have called we get the out of catchment comment. However, this should have been indicated at the time of purchase and installation. This unit is too new to have so many issues. We are trying to resolve at the lowest level, feel that we are getting the run around. They suggested that we go to another company but that could void our existing warranty. We will try to work with ***** and well but we are in the mist of summer with three disable people in the household.

************ installed a system for the ******'s through the ****** program on June 7th, 2021.  At that time, we were a subcontractor for several ****** stores.  This meant that anytime someone requested an HVAC quote through ****** **** Services program, we would be the contractor to go out and quote the system.  Some of the estimates we went on were outside of our normal ******* area, but since we had a contract with ******, we were contractually obligated to quote those jobs or risk getting removed as a subcontractor.  The system we installed for the ******'s had a 10 year parts warranty and a 1 year labor warranty.  We did perform 2 ******* calls on that system, one on August 11th, 2022 and the other on January 11th, 2023.  The first call was for a leak in the lineset, and the second call was for a leak in the evaporator coil.  We repaired both issues, and neither had anything to do with craftsmanship or the installation of the system.  *************** called on May 9th, our dispatcher let him know that he was outside of our ******* area, and she recommended he try to find a company closer to him that could get to his home sooner.  We understand why this is frustrating for Mr. ****** since we were the company that installed the system, even though it was through ******.  It is a unique situation, but we have satisfied our obligation regarding the one year labor warranty. We would be glad to recommend another reputable company in Mr. ******'s ******* area or do anything else that can help them with their current issue.

Had high efficiency gas furnace installed on 12/01/2022 unit stopped working as of 12/02/2022. Called company crew came cleaned condensate line of debris unit now working. The unit was done thru program with TVA after their inspection on 12/16/2022 company had to come back for some repairs. On 12/19 crew came without notice and I wasnt home. On 12/20 crew out to make repairs. On 12/23 unit not working called company was told couldnt get a crew here until Tuesday 12/27 I stated couldnt go that long without heat. I was told a crew would come on that day, but I would be charged ***** fee if if the repairs were not due to faulty unit, I agreed and asked to have someone come out. Repairman came condensate line frozen I was given 2 space heaters to use until a crew could come Tuesday. Using their heaters 2 of mine plus my oven could get temp above 57 degrees. Found a company that did a temporary fix on 12/23. Heat came on 24 hours later but I am having to empty buckets of water from unit. As of today 12/27 5:45 pm no show or call from company. I just want the unit working properly and have a quality control inspection done to confirm unit work has been done correctly. Thank you for your time.
