    I attempted to resolve the dispute with ****** about Royoko without success. This is what was relayed back to me. We have received a response from the merchant, and we've also reviewed all the details of your case. Based on the merchant’s response and the information we have to date, we have denied your case. Your claim was denied because you did not cancel the billing agreement before the transaction took place. This company conducted an unauthorized transaction from my account for a total $179.00. The product did not work as advertised. The product would show good signal strength, but it was not working as a wifi device. I contacted customer support one time and was advised that the device throttles itself back when a customer hits a certain data usage limit. The unit will not work until the next billing cycle. The second time this device quit working, I was nowhere near the data limit, even though Royoko promotes unlimited data.
    When the charge amount was withdrawn from my account, I attempted to resolve the issue with Viaota, but they would not refund to my account. I explained to the company that this bad business practice, and from seeing the other complaints filed, I am not the only person with an issue with this company.

    THis business states it is BBB accredited on it's website first and for most that is Why I purchased their product. I paid for 6 months worth of Portable Wifi and received zero Portable WIfi for the entire 6 months. I called before my subscription had eneded to cancel Ryoko submits an invoice to my bank for another 6 months subscription. I called them to ask for a refund and their rep told me he could not give me a refund. I became insistant that I receive a refund explaining I would leave reviews about the horriblr service I received or no service I received and then the refund was forthcoming. Well The next day I get a phone call from my Credit Card company telling me they were attempting to get the fund again from my credit card. I was required to call my credit card company and deny the transaction and get a new credit card due to decllining the transaction. This company and its internet service provider ****** is trash. They don't treat customers well or provide the services you pay them to provide. Please anyone who reads this review DO NOT PURCHASE the Ryoko protable Wifi or pay for the ****** internet service.

    No stars. Charged my dad 6 months in advance and it does NOT work! They will not answer emails to help us get it working. Asked for a refund and they refused because we do not have the outer package it came in, just the inner package. They are a SCAM and stole money from a senior citizen and left him nothing in return.

    This is a Business that sells Ryoko ( that company I call is in Maryland ) with a product that does not work and I spent 176.60 for this piece of crap that includes a six month unlimited date service and I get no service nor do I get a proper support from them, that’s if they answer their phones… this device does not work to bring in WiFi as they claimed and it messes up my Bluetooth devices…

    This business advertises with their Ryoko product you can pickup WiFi any where ! This is not true and when I complain to customer service, they told me someone would be in touch with me in three days five days laterI had to get in touch with them again they said I did not have a formal complaint to return the product because I opened the product Yet in the advertising they say you can return the product if you can’t use it but then when I try to, they said it be opened so I could not return it. I was highly misleading and would not recommend anyone buying this product. I wasted 70 bucks and nothing buta hard time very misleading and very disappointing

    Worst experience ever. I went through the checkout process and after I paid, the price changed and they showed a limit of 500 mb. I reached out right away, within minutes of ordering to cancel. They refused. The said I could return the device for a no hassle refund after I received it. That was yet another lie. I spent weeks going back and forth with them. Finally, I received a RMA number but I had to ship it to Germany at my expense! Thankfully, I got tracking with it. When it arrived, they rejected it!! It was shipped back to me. They refused to help so I had to go through PayPal to get my money back. I was out the shipping thanks to their scams.

    They are awful. Wifi was not compatible with *******, which was reflected on the advertisement. I called to return, they agreed. They gave me an Order number. I sent the wifi and accessories back to them. The wifi was never used, naturally; it was in mint condition. They originally told me that I would be reimbursed after 5 days of when they received the wifi and accessories. My tracking number that it arrived at its destination. I called after five days, and they verified that they had received it. They told me it would take 14 days. It has now been 16 days. The number provided by the BBB for this bogus company is NOT a working number. The number on Ryoko website is a working number. During our conversation, they explained that my money would be deposited on to my credit card that was used. I have tried to call twice and I was on hold for 30 minutes, and then it was disconnected. I called back immediately, and after 30 minutes, I was disconnected, again. So, now, they have the product and my money. They have two emails that they utilize, and they are auto generated. The first email provided is auto generated. I highly advise NOT to use this company. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would.

    Terrible customer service, I have tried and tried to get a hold of this company via email their 1-800 number and no one will answer the phone. I keep getting a standard copy and paste email that says we hope we find you in good health if you don't respond in 24 hours we assume that your issue has been resolved. I get no internet on the Wi-Fi router... I need them to issue me a full refund and I'd like to be able to talk to someone also.

    This company is a total scam.
    This device work for 3 days after much effort on my part. This just quit. They claim it’s a shared router and I reached my limit after about 6 hours in 3days. I purchased 6 months of unlimited service. Do t fall for the 70% discount it’s not worth even 49 bucks. True **. These people should be shut down

    I tried this device and the speed was slower than expected. I asked for a RMA since I was well within the 30 days customer satisfaction period. I was tolded that since I opened the box I could not return the Ryoko. I just got scammed since the speed was slow and the data plans very costly.
