To Whom It May Concern: My wife and I purchased a Champion home in June/July. Date of manufacture is 10/2/2023. Then immediately shipped to us and built. 1). When the Mobile home company came out and hooked up the water lines, there was a a leak in the master bathroom from the manufacturer pipes. This caused a leak in our bathroom, through the base cabinet and completely soaked the insulation and created a LARGE belly from the underlayment that you could see from the crawlspace. This has probably caused mold to which is why my wife is constantly sick. 2) The vinyl flooring by the back sliding door was not sealed and has a split from one side of the room all the way to the other. 3) The island countertop has a crack in the center of it 4) The kitchen sink countertop has cut marks around the sink (as if it was measured wrong) as well as cracking around the sink. 5) There are MANY nails sticking up throughout the home and some has made its way through the vinyl flooring. 6) I have loose boards under the vinyl flooring that when you walk on them, you can hear a thud, as the board hits "I assume" the floor joists. 7) None of the door jams sit correctly. Including the front door as the weather stripping wasn't done correctly.8) There is a solid 10-degree difference from the living room to the master bedroom/bathroom. I know this because I have my thermostat set to 68 degrees and the heater in the bathroom is constantly turns on at 60 degrees. Almost ALL the windows have a massive draft, especially in the Master Bedroom. For a BRAND-NEW HOME, with the temp set at 68, my electric bill to heat should NOT be $500/m 9) As a contractor came out and looked at my siding, they determined that my siding should not have massive waves in it and stated that the majority of it would need to come back off and redone as there are also a lot of gaps between the siding. For a $210,000 home, we should not be suffering like this and embarrassed to have people over.

I am rejecting this response because: We are going on 2 years since the purchase of the home. Everytime I've called or tried to reach out, the same answer is given. (You have an open work order). Given the circumstances and time again, having an open work order for almost 2 years doesnt do anything. I prefer results vs "open work order"   we have to look at it daily as well as $500/m electric bills because the house has alot of drafts.  Its not only costing us $, but again, for a $210,000 home, we assumed we'd not have to watch where we walk in order to miss nails coming through the floors either.

I purchased this new home on March 9, 2024. It was delivered on July 8, 2024 and put together on July 10, 2024. They left a gap between the porch and vinyl halfway across the home. They had a 2x6 missing at the marriage line of the porch. When the lag bolted the porch, the existing nails almost pulled out of the other boards underneath the porch. Additionally, at the marriage line of the porch, the Polytex did not line up leaving a gap at the marriage line more narrow than the width of the Polytex, and therefore it will not line up. The porch was suppose to be layed like the display but was not, as well as the color was incorrect but I can live with the color. Three corner posts of the porch were cut incorrectly causing a gap between the post and the face board. The front of the home was built 2" longer than the back causing the vinyl siding to stick out a little on each end. I can live with this as it is not real noticeable but do what to make you aware. There are electrical issues along the front of the home. One switch by the backdoor at the end of the home will shut off almost all electricity along the front of the home. I ordered dark tile for the master bathroom but they installed a generic hard, very light colored tile. The kitchen and master bathroom cabinet doors do not match up and will not close.

I would like to state I would never recommend Champion Homes to anyone. Our experience of living in one of your homes has been horrible. We moved in September 20, 2022 and it has been a true nightmare. I have had your team come out to replace multiple things, such as uneven counter tops, ceiling cracks, wrong flooring, flooring buckled, electrical issues, etc. I could list more Im certain. Our electrical issues and incorrect wiring is still a problem and currently does not work, again. As we dig in to fix all of the unnecessary issues with this home, we find more half done jobs. Our outlets are not even, the drywall behind it is cut way too big and is exposed a 1/2 inch on most of our outlets! Our trim is raw edged and coming off, which is one of the things your team had to come back and fix, obviously they did not. We had them come fix our barn doors that were hung unevenly and would not stay closed, thats still not fixed; they wont stay closed. Our sinks/showers hold water due to being un-level. The tile your crew came to fix, because it was cracked after installation; cracked still! However, this time when they came to fix it they forgot to put the silicone back on it and its already rusting the metal. Our experience has been nothing but terrible sequence of one thing after the next. We have gaps from the trim on the floor and ceiling that are either left open with no caulk, or completely filled with caulk to fill an inch gap! Back to the barn doors, where the guy peeled the tape off of it, he colored it in with a blue ink pen to try to hide it!! He told us that it was going to be fixed, never was. I asked for them to come out several times to correct mistakes and was pushed off, when they did come, I feel the mistakes were disguised more instead of being fixed.

I purchased the mobile home 9/22. From day one I have had nothing but problems that go on unresolved ultimately leaving me in complete anxiety and distress. It started with electrical problems, multiple burnout air units after installation from electricity work, breakers flipping off to finally a second electrician finding that a s**** was through a wire and kept getting to hot causing the break. To my electricity pole breaker flipping in 12/22 due to electrical pull from the heater being turned on. A second electrician through the company was sent out who practically re-wired every outlet from my bedroom to living room trying to find more issues that was never found/fixed. To this day breakers flip constantly. I experienced leaking under the exterior doors of the back of the house those issues were never addressed. Then I came home to a flooded kitchen back in july of this year took 4.5 months to get the counters replaced. The sink has leaked causing issues 4 times now. With my counter damage being most recent from july. The issue remains unresolved as my sink is still leaking after multiple contractors have been out. The issue becomes worse every time. 11/27 discovered saturation of my floor under my sink. I have reached out yet again about the sink leaking issue. The maintenance person, **** at spartans in *********** would not ************* I ended up having to go above her head to get any communication. I have spent 150k with 7% interest on this house form a loan. With that being said it was not worth the money from all the time/effort/worry/anxiety that came along with this house that is falling apart barely a year in to living in it. With the electrical issues alone the anxiety I have experienced with worry that my house will catch fire because no one will come out and actually accomplish fixing the issues without making it worse. I have attached a years worth of emails/text conversations with dates about recurring issues and unfixed concerns.

My wife and I closed on our mortgage 7-26-22. The home was delivered first week of September 2022. The home was set incorrectly, and had to be reset 2nd week of September 2022. The process of "marrying" began. Long story short, the quality of craftsmanship is far less than adequate. The structural integrity of the home is comprised, the sub-flooring looks like a tidal wave, and I am getting anything, as far as a solution, from the regional service manager ***********************. There are cracks EVERYWHERE, and the living space is an eyesore. There are excuses being made, and everything sounds like a cop out. There is ZERO concern for my new home new purchase, and this entire ordeal, AT THIS POINT, IS MY MOST SIGNIFICANT REGRET !!! WE SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY !!! Instead of treating us like we have made the most inportant purchase in our marriage or life, WE HAVE BEEN TREATED AS IF WE PURCHASED A ROTTEN APPLE from a road side fruit stand. DO NOT PURCHASE A CHAMPION HOME !!! I will be seeking litigation counsel if these issues/concerns are not corrected !!!I have been in the construction industry for 25+ years. My expectations are not unreasonable. I pride myself on quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail in my work. Champion Homes simply DOES NOT CARE after you sign !!!

Purchased a manufactured home that was a lot model. It was broken down and moved to my property and set up. There were several issues as with all manufactured homes when transported as to be expected . The retailer (******* home center) in general blames all issues/problems/needed repairs on being the factorys responsibility (Champion Homes of Tennessee) in ******* . Champion Homes Center) then reverts the blame back to the retailer (*******) and then (*******) blames their contractors, which they pay whether they perform a good service or not. I know Ill probably never get any restitution from this BUT I feel it necessary to warn others of whats coming ahead. After you make the purchase, they all only want to communicate by email and or text to avoid having to speak/answer questions on the spot. Ive never been more disappointed with a transaction in my life. One of our main problems is that when the house was broken down on the lot for transport, the contractor cut the carpet in the doorway of a spare bedroom wrong as to where it couldnt be fixed properly when set back up. After numerous attempts to get them to repair it, they just keep pushing the blame on each other. Itd probably cost less than a $1000 to completely replace the small room. Id feel certain they wouldnt have to shut the whole operation down eating that small amount. No way that this should just be okay with me. The floor is soft in a fairly large area in the hallway. Theres no dampness underneath the house at all. Two of the (Champion Technicians) shrugged it off as saying that I was just stepping in between boards. Then on a later date one of them told me its from when they bolt the home together they pulled to hard in that area and caused some boards to separate. Said it happens all the time and is a fairly easy fix just send an email to ****** in the office and theyll get it on the schedule. Its been several days again with no response.

I bought a Champion Home ( manufactured home) 7 years ago. I paid $75,000.00 cash. Im assuming this house was built in Tennessee because the serial # starts with TEN. The issue is that the roof shingles are coming off. I checked with a shingle manufacture and they said the warranty is only good for a 4/1 pitched roof or steeper. This house is only 2/1. Why would they install shingles that are not warranted for this house? They need to install a roof that will be warranted for this house. Please help and thanks

      S/N 021-000-H-A002435AB

      Manufactured in 2014.

All Units are designed and built to compliance and accordance to HUD code standards. Including all materials.

The roof pitch is in compliance to HUD code and the shingles are also approved for HUD construction.

Champion only offers a Limited Manufacturer's Warranty on Structural, Electrical, and Plumbing that expires one year prior to the unit being retail sold.

The Limited Manufacturer's Warranty on S/N 021-000-H-A002435AB has expired.

Roof Shingles can be damaged, misplaced or lost from acclimate weather, storms and high winds. This post warranty would be considered homeowner maintenance.

If the shingle manufacturer can provide documentation that the cause of lost shingles is due to an in-proper installation. Champion will gladly open this service file again for review.

      Thanks
