I am extremely disappointed with Naples Sea Shell Company and their handling of my recent order. I placed my order on December 14, 2024, and paid extra for Priority Mail (2–3 days) shipping, which cost an additional $10.01. However, as of December 20, my package has still not arrived, and tracking information provides no clear delivery date.

Despite their website clearly advertising 2–3 day delivery for this option, there was no notice about potential delays during the holiday season. After contacting the company, I was told they cannot refund the shipping cost and received nothing but an empty apology. A follow-up email expressing my continued frustration was ignored entirely.

What’s worse, a quick search reveals that other customers have experienced similar problems with Naples Sea Shell Company’s choice to ship through USPS. It seems this company is fully aware of ongoing issues with USPS reliability yet continues to use them for shipping without taking accountability or offering better alternatives. Their lack of transparency and refusal to rectify the situation shows a total disregard for their customers.

I understand holiday shipping delays can happen, but it’s unacceptable to promise and charge for expedited delivery without ensuring the service can be fulfilled. The company’s refusal to refund shipping costs or take responsibility for their unreliable shipping partner leaves me deeply dissatisfied.

I strongly advise against purchasing from Naples Sea Shell Company unless they make significant changes to their policies, improve their communication, and start valuing their customers. My experience has left me regretting my decision to shop with them, and I will not be returning.

We use USPS almost exclusively for more than 20 years for thousands of packages.  It is very rare that there is a problem and we plan on continuing with the United States Postal Service.

Naples Sea Shell Company offers our customer the option to use USPS 2 to 3 day priority mail service.  It's unfortunate that Mr. ******* package was delayed but this is simply beyond our control.

Naples Sea Shell Company is not responsible for packages once in possession of United States Postal Service.  Mr. ******* complaint is with USPS.

I am rejecting this response because:

thats Simply a cop out excuse. We use USPS exclusively.blah blah blah… take ownership. Use a different vendor. There are plenty of options out there besides USPS. I paid extra for expedited shipping paid directly to you. It’s not my fault YOUR vendor “USPS” delayed the package. That is YOUR fault for using that vendor. And continuing to do so when there is an issue. It’s not rare as you say. A simple Google search will reveal hundreds of upon hundreds of negative reviews mostly regarding your shipping through USPS. Your the reason small businesses fail, you neglect to take ownership and pass the buck. Yes it’s true while you did hand the package to USPS in a timely manner they did not complete the delivery in a timely manner. I had zero choice about USPS being used. That was decided by you, Naples seashell company. Therefore you should take ownership of the issue, refund the shipping cost, and file a dispute with YOUR vendor USPS. Passing the issue off to the customer is simply not going to do. Make it right or I will continue to do everything in my power to make it known how shady of a company your running truly is!

    Sincerely,

    Jason *****
