      I contracted Allstate to treat my lawn for weeds. For the first several months things were fine. Recently I got a bill from them and I believed that it was a mistake. There was no evidence of them treating my yard. No flag, no crystals on the yard no coloring etc. They assured me that they did come and I paid. Later I received another bill for a different treatment and questioned them because all but one side of my yard was infested with weeds. I even sent them pictures of the infestation. I told them that I didn't think they did what they were contracted to do and refused to pay them. They then turned me into collections. I feel certain that this company either didn't treat my yard as agreed upon or began only treating the left side of my yard for some reason. The left side looked fine but the front and the right side were covered with weeds.

      weeds are sometimes a part of weed control/fertilization. Part of our warranty is we guarantee to return on any and all concerns. Part of weed issues is weather related! We have not been in business this long by scamming people and not doing the service. His claim that we did not service his yard is absurd, especially when we gladly return anytime a customer has weeds. ******************** claims he had no idea we had serviced his account however our system shows he was sent an email at the time of service, as well as a past due invoice. The excessive rain we had this year during pre-emerge is part to blame. We can not control the weather. If ******************** had simply ask we would gladly return. Instead he would rather accuse us of not servicing his yard.  ******************** was behind on paying for services. He paid by credit card and sent in a check, which we then shredded. ******************** says he sent pictures which we never received! ******************** was not interested in resolving the issue, he was only interested in canceling and not paying for the service "take me to court if you must". The reason he contacted the BBB is we turned him over to collections, per his request. We have nothing to hide. see emails attached.
