              I went to buy a tombstone for my mother and father. I had told the woman at Harris Monument that I had a picture of what my two brothers and I wanted but it was not exactly it. I could not find exactly what we needed. I told her that there was no vase in the photo where we would like one and that the base of the stone was a gray color where we wanted ours all black. I also told her that the top was rounded in the picture but we needed ours flat. Most of the time that I was in the office, she was on other calls and rushing me through the process. She misspelled the name on the stone and also mixed up my address. She told me before I left that I would be mailed a proof before they did anything. She also told me it would be months before we could ever get it and that was fine with me. I paid $2,304.75 A few months later I called to see what was going on because upon looking at my receipt I noticed she wrote my address wrong. She ordered the wrong shape of the stone and is refusing refund.

              I would rate this no stars if I could and would even put negative stars if that was an option. My Father passed away August 16, 2023. We could not purchase a stone from the Funeral Home due to them advising they were “unable to get them at the time”. So my Sister and I went to Harris Monuments in Cookeville, TN in August of 2023. They advised it would be so many weeks before they could place the rock so we stated it will be around Christmas. The man stated no it will be before Christmas. We expected first of December. November 4th we received a picture from Family of the stone in place. Well today that rock lies on the ground and Harris Monuments claim it’s not their fault but for $250 they will fix it. We moved the stone off the top of my Dads grave and can freely move the base too but yet it’s not their problem. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor and AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!!!!
