I bought a truck from Speedworx Motors in Cleveland, Tennessee in which was stated, "Truck is solid all around with no visible rust, rocker panels have been replaced." "No check engine light or other maintenance lights" (Pictured). The dealer, ***** stated in his ad, over phone, and within text messaging nothing was wrong with the truck. Before the Bill of Sale signing I asked him again, “On the one that says about major possible defects, none of them apply to this truck correct?” He stated, “Correct” (Pictured). I had it shipped to my location and went to get it inspected at the local dealership to make sure everything was in good shape as it was stated. It failed the check for over $2,000 worth of safety/steering parts being broken or completely worn out. 9 bulbs blew, interior buttons not working/broken, tailpipe missing, needed 4 out of 8 glow plugs, 1 dead battery, sensors needing replaced, airbag light on, e-brake cable snapped under the truck, and missing inner rockers were some of the unstated/discovered problems right when the truck was delivered. The rest are listed in the attached pictures. A few days later I found a rust hole on the tailgate and inside the truck that goes to the outside under the driver seat (Pictured). I looked underneath the vehicle and found there was duct tape covering the damages that was spray painted over to try and hide them (Pictured). The underneath is rusted out in other spots as well and missing the inner rocker panels which were stated to be replaced. The dealer, *****, isn’t willing to help me besides the $500 he sent me to fix some stuff and his dealership discount on a battery replacement. My consumer rights were violated within this situation due to being lied to and the misleading advertisement. It wasn’t safe to be driving on the road in the state it was sold to me in due to the rust hole letting water inside the truck and the steering/safety parts being so worn or broken per the dealership I had check over it.
