I do NOT recommend Options Insurance. The owner operator is dishonorable, untrustworthy and unprofessional. The owner was assisting another office agent with my account. The owner provided me with quotes that reflected a saving of approximately $1,000. Upon seeing a significant savings, I requested to change insurance carriers. The owner became upset with me and yelled at me because I wanted to change insurance carriers after only being with the current insurance carrier a year. The owner realized that my 2nd vehicle wasn't part of the quote which is why I saw such a significant savings. From that moment, I no longer respected the owner since he yelled at me treated me with so much disrespect. Later, I requested an Agent of Record change because I didn't trust the owner and I wasn't receiving quality and timely service. In an email written by the owner, the owner specifically states that Options Insurance was no my Agent of Record. However, when the insurance carriers asked the owner to sign the Agent of Record change, the owner refused even though the owner made a clear written statement releasing Options Insurance as Agent of Record. That said, Options Insurance doesn't service my account but remains Agent of Record thereby still gets the commission. I have to call the insurance carrier to have my account serviced for anything. The owner's actions have been dishonorable, untrustworthily and unprofessional. To this day, the owner still hasn't released Options Insurance as Agent of Record. Said request was made in April 2023. Do you want a business receiving commission for something they didn't earn? If not, don't use Options Insurance.
