These calls are being generated by individuals and computerized systems derived from other databases and phone lists. Officials want to assure the community that Erlanger does not make cold calls to sell services, and that patient information has not been compromised with these spoof calls. Residents receiving any calls beginning with 423-778 not related to Erlanger business and patient care are urged to call the Federal Communications Commission at 1-888-CALL FCC (225-5322) or visit https://www.fcc.gov/consumers/guides/stop-unwanted-robocalls-and-texts to report these calls.
