    August 20, 2024 Bradley tree came to my house and gave me an estimate for cutting trees. The estimate was originally **** dollars. I wanted to use their loan service but they could not allow a payment plan unless i had a minimum of **** dollar bill. So they added a few extra services to add up to **** dollars. In the end my daughter ended up paying the **** dollars so I did not need to take a loan out. They came to the house and cut the 4 trees and the front bush but did not grind two stumps. Bradley tree keeps saying that they would come out to finish the job. We would make a plan for them to come out. But no one ever comes. The last time they reach out to say someone was coming to complete the job was Oct 3 2024. No one came out. So I called them to see what happened. They stated that “So he did show up, he said he couldn't get the stump done because the stump is in the fence. If he grinds the stump in the fence he will have to mess up the whole fence from trying to get it to it. Thank you”. Why are they charging me for stump removal when they are the ones the came and did the estimate. They should have known it was closer to the fence line. Now they won’t give give me a partial refund for the work they could not do.

    Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this matter.

    On August 8, 2024, our team provided an estimate for tree removal services. The tree job was completed and paid for in full on August 20, 2024.

    Regarding the stump grinding: We did complete the majority of the work. However, during the follow-up visit to grind the remaining stumps, our technician noted that one stump was too close to a fence to be safely ground without causing potential damage to the fence structure and the machine. Out of caution and in the customer's best interest, we did not proceed.

    We understand the customer’s frustration and apologize for the lack of follow-through in communication after October 3, 2024. While the stump grinding portion of the service represents a small portion of the total cost—approximately $**—we acknowledge the concern and are willing to offer a $** refund as a goodwill gesture to resolve this matter fairly.

    Please let us know how the customer would like to proceed with receiving the refund.
