    The company was paid to cut down and remove a tree on my property. The tree was located next to the carport. The company dropped a large tree limb which went through the roof of the carport. Three of the roof panels were damaged leaving a large hole . I was told by the company that it would be fixed. The accident occurred in July 2024. I have been contacting them weekly asking them to fix the problem or compensate me for the damage. We have done neither.

    On 08/24/24 I received a quote from Certified Tree Care LLC (corporate office based in *********). A down payment of $1,200 was provided. Later **** ******** contacted me and indicated that his crew had discontinued their employment with Certified Tree Care and that he did not currently have a crew. I was later contacted by another firm to schedule an appointment for the tree removal, I agreed to their date assuming that this company was a subcontractor for Certified Tree Care. When the tree was removed I contacted **** ********, I provided him with a check for the balance of $975.00. A few days later i received and have paid the subcontractor for the tree removal in the amount of $4,500. I made the mistake of thinking that the other company was sent by Certified Tree Care so I was responsible for that payment. I have since contacted Certified Tree Care to get the minimum of $975 returned to me. I do not get any response except to say that "Corporate" will not return the calls to their employees **** ******** ************ or his boss **** ******** ************. Our checks cleared our accounts - $1,200 on 08/27/24 and $975 on 10/08/24. Certified Tree Care has received $2,175 from me, but has never provided any services nor will the **************** respond to any emails concerning the refund. Both **** and **** agree that the money should be returned. Both have indicated that they are embarrassed by this entire issue.

    Thank you for your assistance Certified Tree has refunded $1,1oo of the funds and has indicated that the remaining balance is considered the non refundable deposit, but will be applied as a down payment should we desire them to remove a tree in our yard..  Your assistance was helpful because we immediately received a response from them as soon as your firm became involved.

    On 5/29/24 I hired a man, *** *************), to come and grind/remove a ***** in my backyard which he agreed to do. The check I wrote him was for $300 which he deposited the next day and cleared with my account showing on my statement. Originally, it was understood he would be out in the next couple of weeks to do the job of which I didnt have to be home for given my backyard is not enclosed and I would not be home. *** never showed up to do the work so my daughter called after a few weeks and was told by *** they only do it (***** grinding) a couple days at the end of each month. He has still not shown to do the work as of July 1. I called today, Monday July 1, and requested my money back. The secretary said he would call back but has not done that.

    Hired Certified to remove a large tree. I paid half up front. They started project, but cannot or will not complete it ***************** is required to complete job and its now apparent they did not factor that into quote. Theyve damaged my property, my neighbors property, and left an half cut dow tree in my yard. Ive had to contract w another service which will cost me more money. They offered me my money back to get out of the deal they cut with me, but I need compensation for the damage to my property and the money Ill be required to pay to cure their default on the original contract
