    I rented a house from BHT Properties around 7 months ago and everyday this is something new that falls apart. They only send **** leg contractors out to do the bare minimum on any work that should be done properly. The kitchen floor is extremely weak and warped and all the contractor that work through this company did was put a huge piece of ply wood over the floor and drilled it down. I am a fall risk and I use a ****** to assist me in my mobility. This is a huge safety hazard for me. This is like placing a bandage over a huge Gash that needs stitches and the problem still exists. The contract then said to me that it would have taken 3-4 days to rip the entire floor apart and replace it. In my opinion that what should have been done because the floor is still a safety hazard and when it is ready to clasp that is exactly what is going to happen, I just pray that my GrandChildren, my Husband, or myself is not standing in that area because the outcome isn't going to be pretty at all. This is extremely unexceptable when I have paid over $8,365 in this house since I moved here in the beginning of December 2024, and there hasnt been any work orders done properly! It is still raining in the basement and it reeks of mildew.

    This company recently obtained a property near me, and its new tenant has not cut their grass this year yet. It is extremely overgrown and it is causing cats and rodents to migrate to my property now. I called BHT, and reported the issue to the woman that answered the phone. She told me that its the tenants responsibly to maintain the yard, and suggested that I go and speak to them. This doesnt make any sense to me. Who am I to go and tell someone to keep their yard together, this should be rectified by the owners of the property.

    This company purchased my aunt home from her previous landlord. She is elderly woman who receive rental assistance. She regularly pays her portion of the rent. However an increase of her rent went up in March. There were some communication issue and my aunt thought the increase was effective April of 2023. For March she paid the rent amount that she had been paying since 2022. She was unware that March 1 she was supposed to pay the increased rental rate. She was recently informed that she had a past due balance of $484. She did not understand why so she called and spoke with ***************** who did not giver her breakdown of why she was behind and kept saying it's in the portal. My aunt informed her that she does not know how to use it as she is 63 and asked her to provide the balance breakdown verbally. **** continued with saying it due to "late fees". I had my Aunt to call while I was on the phone so I could get an understanding of the balance. **** was rude and whenever I asked for clarification she would say "Oh my God" in a very exasperating manner. I asked if she had a supervisor and she said no it's Sunday. I requested their information and she hung up on us and did not answer the phone. She later sent my aunt another email with a ledger attached in which my aunt did not understand. I have requested my aunt current lease to see when the increased rent went into effect and why wasn't she notified that it was effective March 1. Next, my Aunt did not receive a rental agreement for the new lease. It's really bad when someone is trying to clear up debt they owe for the business to be so unprofessional in the manner ***************** was with us. I really hope they do something about it especially seeing the ** BBB score and that they are not accredited either. ***************** actions warrants an apology.
