    I agree with Judd D the attitude with these people stinks communication is the worst have been trying to gat gas turned on at a rental unit that we just bought had one A/C Heat system installed by a local contractor that has been installing in Cleveland TN for years no problem No permits required in Mcminn county however they want complete control over when and how they turn gas on If they want things done a certain way they should require permits I come from FL a permit is required to use the bathroom for gods sake contractor performs work then an inspector inspects either passes or is red flagged I do not understand why we have to have contractor and AUB rep to be at the home at the same time The sad part is its getting colder and the elderly lady renting is cold and they are holding up getting heat in the house they should be proud of themselves once the gas is on I will be able to change anything I want in the home without a permit !!!!! they have no control over that at all They are smug and it is monopolized and ignorant makes me want to buy another home with gas in this area for sure the *** town is run by the Churches and AUB By the way had gas run for a gas range in my house two years ago never once did AUB have to come out and look at anything what a bunch of BS TIM your getting ONE Star they don't go any lower unfortunately but you really shouldn't care since you are a monopoly !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I am sorry you are unhappy, truly.  I've reviewed this situation, and I see where on 9/26/2022 our gas technician had spoken to your heat/air company and advised that Black Flex piping was installed on your system.  He explained that Black Flex piping is not legal to be run for natural gas applications, and your H/A guy was going to take care of that.  I believe that Ms. T******* discussed this with our Gas Superintendent as well, and he (gas superintendent) is the one who sent our tech out on the call, which is when the Black Flex piping was discovered.   I can hear, listening to the recorded calls, that you were frustrated with the situation.  I understand that, as it can get frustrating when trying to get all these things done.  It seems you were between your H/A company (*** **** ***) and our guys who were working to inspect.  I wish I knew how to "fix" this situation.  Sounds like your system did get worked on by your HVAC company, because I see that on 9/30/22 the "red tag" was removed from the gas meter, meaning that it was ok to turn the gas on.   We are very careful when it comes to natural gas ensuring that everything is right, that all the proper materials have been used, etc., and we work with the HVAC contractor on these things, was we did with *** **** ***.  I will work with Holly, the customer rep with whom you spoke, to ensure that she handles things correctly with callers.  I could hear that as you became more frustrated, she did as well, and she just wasn't a customer focused as she could have been.  Let me know if there are other things I may have missed in reviewing your calls.  We definitely want your experience to go well, even there are are hiccups along the way such as the Black Flex pipe that had to be replaced, and so forth.  Thanks much, and I hope the property is good.
