  Hired them in August 2023 to do a complete re-roof on my home. I paid $64,000 for a roof that actually caused leaks. Over the next year, I had them out countless times to try to fix the leaks. They fixed one and more popped up. In June 2024, I reached out about another couple of leaks and they kept saying they would come out, but never did. They dragged me along for months like this only to then tell me that I was out of their warranty/guarantee period. Brian Elder sold the company to ************** before he ********* *******. I tried to pursue a legal route, and their lawyers responded to every claim with the defense of when Brian Elder Roofing was purchased by **************, they did not convey any of the accounts or warranties/guarantees/accounts issued by ********************** to ************** - they merely bought the name.I had another 2 roofing companies come out and do a forensic evaluation of my roof and they discovered that every single bit of flashing was improperly installed, the wrong type of roll/bitumen roofing was used, and some areas were just roofed over and the decking was not repaired.I have no legal recourse against them and am forced to just accept the fact that I am now out $64,000 (for which I needed to acquire a HELOC), and have a minimum of $10,000 in repairs to make due to their faulty install. They are now operating 2 companies - one as ************** and one as Brian Elder Roofing, and although Brian Elder Roofing has an A+ rating with the BBB, they haven't had a license to work in ********* in years and continue to operate.

  Like most people, Im generally too busy to write a review. Which is sad as I do read them when Im buying something. Such is the case when I had my roof done in September 2017. We got multiple bids and chose Brian Elder it was a very pleasant experience then and we were very happy with our roof then and still are today. They did a great job and cleaned up very well. Fast forward to June 2024, almost 7 years later. We sold our house, and 2 of the 4 issues the housing inspector found had to do with our roof. It wasnt even a major issue - 2 vented pipes were too close to the decking board and needed to be centered - certainly nothing obvious nor something wed ever noticed. I called Brian Elder Roofing on Monday a little before 4 in the afternoon and explained my situation. Literally within 5 minutes, I had a call back. ***** told me that he would look into getting someone out to fix my issue. ***** called me back around 5:30 and told me that ***** was working to get somebody out after 12 the next day (Tuesday) to fix my issue. Sure enough, after noon the next day, I got a call that their guy was finishing up a job and that he would be out shortly. Before 1:30, my doorbell rang. It took the guy about an hour to fix my issue.and it wasnt cool outside either. It took about an hour to complete. All in it took less than 24 hours from when I contacted them for the issue to be resolved. Why did it happen in the first place? Maybe they were training someone new, maybe they got in a hurry, or maybe they were just human. It certainly wasnt a major issue nor did it leak. I was very impressed that almost 7 years after Brian Elder Roofing was still standing behind their work. I had to ask for this link so I could leave a review- Brian Elder did not ask me. I highly recommend choosing B.E.R. to replace your roof.

  This company is falling apart. After telling us the repair needed, ordering the part, miscommunication between his employees, changes of price after we were told what the job would cost and agreed to it, all of the employees involved in the job quit. The project manager, crew, all of them left the company. I spoke with Brian to explain the is***s and his responses were fowl, inappropriate, and selfish. He said not to be a **** but you aren't going to *** us over this amount of money. I don't want any part of it and hung up on me. Do not use this company and you may want to get any repairs you need done finished over the next few weeks- this company wont last much longer.

  IF you are a contractor working for this Brain Elder Roofing make sure to get paid before doing any work for him, *********************** has done almost 20K in commercial work for him and has not paid for the job we did. He says that he has to make payroll and pay his bills before we can get paid on the jobs we have finished for him over 90 day ago. He has been paid from the customer but wont pay the sub contactors he hires. DO NOT WORK WITH THIS GUY HE WILL NOT PAY YOU!

  We have the most beautiful roof in the neighborhood now. ***** was great to work with: very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He made the process and pricing clear, with choices of Good, Better, and Best for roof replacement options. He worked with me and the insurance company to be sure we got the maximum benefit under the law to replace the roof; this is very important in the process. We had to wait a little while on the shingles, since they were a special new color that was not available locally, but it was worth the wait. The crew was excellent, efficient, professional, and friendly too. They did the entire job (removal, repair, and replacement) in less that 2 days, with a meticulous cleanup and multiple nail checks with the big magnets after the job was done. They really earned more than 5 stars, but that is all I can give here. Thanks!

  I am so pleased with my new roof. I had to have two layers of roofing removed. They protected my flowers, and I have a lot of them, and cleaned everything up completely after installation. They sent someone to do a walk around with me to check for problems after completion. There was one problem and they quickly corrected and made it perfect. I recommend Elder Roofing! Professional and 100% customer service first.

  My daughter had some leaks in her roof on June 18. after the windstorm came through, it took forever to get the insurance company to send someone to inspect the damage. I called Brian Elder Roofing and they came out out and sent pictures of all the roof to the insurance company. The insurance *** took forever and in the end they did not cover the roof anyway, but Brian Elder Roofing stepped up and repaired my roof for a fair price. I really want to thank ************/ Brian Elder roofing for helping and getting the roof repaired, The contractor did a great job and advised me what they were doing all the way through the job. ***** is one of the nicest and most professional person I have ever dealt with. Brian Elder Roofing is fortunate to have a man like ***** working for them.I highly recommend Brian Elder Roofing for any job you need done.

  We had to have our entire roof replaced because of extensive wind damage. Our contact person at Brian Elder Roofing was ***********************. ***** was absolutely fantastic to work with. We filed our claim with our insurance company in April of 2022. The insurance company kept asking for more pictures of the damage and ***** repeatedly and tirelessly kept giving them everything they asked for. This went on almost five months and finally we reached a point where we felt like we had gotten everything from insurance that we were going to get. Brian Elder Roofing came out and in two days removed the old roof and installed the new one. We are extremely pleased with their work. They were quick, professional and thorough in removing the old roof and installing the new roof. Also, I noticed how conscientious they were in cleaning up the aftermath of ripping out the old roof. They were very thorough in removing the debris and the nails that were pulled out of the old roof. Throughout this whole process, ***** provided valuable advice, patience and perseverance to get through this project. I would highly recommend *********************** and Brian Elder Roofing for any roofing project you are considering.
