Wheel City used to be a good business, until the last couple years. I had previously purchased two cars from them and it worked out great. Then move onto purchasing my husband a **** F150 in 2016, the engine blew in 6 months.. they let us trade it in for a different vehicle that they had and we got a **** Fusion, and sure enough after a year or so the engine blew, transmission, its needed almost every repair you can list. Recently they offered to buy the vehicle back so we took it in to get an estimate, they gave us one and we came back the next day and decided not to go through with the sale because it wasn't in our budget to try and pay it off and purchase a new vehicle from somewhere else. That was in October, so come December we receive a phone call saying we haven't been making payments, which is odd because it is supposed to be auto payments on pay days. They claim we never brought the vehicle in to be sold and stopped payments. COMPLETE LIE. We agreed to not sell the vehicle and the knew we were not bringing it back and we were keeping it. So now they say we are behind on payments and owe them money to make up the difference. If you're reading this, stay far far away from them. They are frauds and scam artists who purchase used cars with problems and sell them as if there aren't any. Never again will I refer them or give them my business. I can not wait to be done with them.
