I have been a spendwell customer div of pathwards for the past 3 hrs I was using a ex friend's email she and I don't talk now for 1 month spendwell refuses to change my email address so I can update my account pin but they keep telling me it takes 48 hrs and they never change it I called the nh oig and now filed a bbb complaint. It's been 1 month I can't access my personal account and fear fraud when my money is deposited to my account next month but they won't fix it just more lies and told so sorry just wait

Usually I don’t write these kind of reviews but this time I just want to protect people from future scam… because these croocks aren’t going to stop I know it for sure. first time they have contacted me I invested 1000€ they said they will be able to make more than 100% profit per month it was of course hard to believe but I had free money and decided to try it out (Because I thought I can withdraw it back whenever I want anyways) well after I invested they have traded on my account and as promised were making more than 100% gain per month (Only now I understand that it all was fake platform and fake profit) anyways after some month they proposed me to invest a very big amount of money just for 1 month to make 100% gain and then withdraw so I believed them and put in 150 000 EURO. Quite obviously after I sent the funds I haven’t heard from them for almost 2 weeks until I started ringing all the possible bells they have also locked my account and requested all kinds of documents, after weeks of trying to communicate with them it wasn’t working out and I couldn’t get any money. in search for help on how to get my money back I was directed to contact Mr Bogdan sovar who work with crypto currency authorities, I contacted him and explained my situation to him, he requested for some details about the broker and concerning my investment, I forwarded all the details to him. it was all like a dream, through him I was able to get back all my money, please don’t sit back and cry when you facing difficulties in withdrawing your profit or you totally lost your funds to any Broker or Account Manager, kindly contact Mr Bogdan through his email address: bsovar7 at gmaiI com I assure you a successful funds recovery.

This pathward is about to receive a letter from my attorney how can you get my information to open account and I don't even know you and I have never heard of pathward I go on my social security account and my bank that I am with was changed from wells Fargo to pathward on March 4th you do know that is fraud since I can't get ahold of anyone talk to I am taking this to my attorney and I will press criminal charges

Called and spoke with several reps with no resolution. I have (2) $50 debit cards that are not expired but checked balance and no funds available due to $2.50 monthly fees. I can't afford to loose $100.00 . I am a handicapped senior with eye problems are didn't see the the fee. If I was aware of this would have used sooner. Very upset with the reps. I activated the cards to make sure there was money applied to debit card.

I am indeed another person that's been straight up scammed by this very greedy company! Back in November i needed extra cash for a medical emergency so I decided to apply at H&R Block for the Emerald advance loan. I was approved for $1,300 on the spot, Oh but when I tried to make a purchase with the card DECLINED!! I was pissed so I called just to get an automated system stating that the card numbers did not match with any of their accounts... I then drove back to H&R Block to make sure that it was not a problem on their end, only to get met with " WE CANT HELP YOU" you will have to get customer service on the phone. That my friend is a complete joke! Finally after 4 Days I was able to use it only as credit... Now fast forward to January 2024 when i submit my tax return electronically, IRS excepted it on the spot and told me I would receive my full refund after seven/ten days. They held up on their word and a total of $5,000 was deposited into Pathwards account. After almost one month they would only release $3,000 to me Via Emerald Card Leaving me to being threatened because my $1,459.83 balance is still not paid on my account... Where is My Money? Why is It being hidden? I will tell you why.. They are SCAMMERS!!!! and whoever else is dealing with their games Hit me up! I will be submitting my formal complaint to the Secretary of my state here in good ole south Ms. I am ready to file a "class action suit" They need to be stopped! They need to pay!

MoneyLion /Pathward Robbed me for my federal tax refund and everytime I call it’s always someone that I need to upload only to do as they ask and they task me with something else. I don’t understand how do you take someone federal tax return. I don’t know what to do at this point

I unknowingly used pathward as I got an emerald card from HR block. They received my direct deposit 2/16/24, paid themselves what I owed them out of my account on 2/19/24. After paying themselves they STILL have not released my funds to me! I called the emerald card and NO ONE could see, find, nor tell me why my money was sitting and why it had not been released to me yet! I have the federal deposit code from the deposit but no one at the emerald help line can tell me why my money is just sitting and why it has not been released to me even though they paid themselves! I want to know what they are doing with my money and why can they pay themselves yet not release my funds to me??? So I tried calling Pathward and you cannot get a real life person! So I WILL be filing a formal complaint since no one can tell me or see where my money is and why it hasn’t been released to me!!!

Word goes out to anyone who might have any prepaid card from their work thattill teusday smh. is owned by MetaBank/Pathward. These people out of nowhere started putting hold on your money for no reason. I've had bills dew since Friday and they are holding my check till Tuesday. well I guess I'm going to have to use a different card and say screw it after 2 1/2 years with the company.

I bought this card about 12 hours ago and loaded it to purchase a birthday gift online...still trying to use it. I put money on the card when I bought it just to get denied and not registered. Then I'm told that i can still use it for online purchases and in store until I use what I originally put on there...LIES! More than 10 phone calls and 27 attempted transactions later and still unable to purchase anything more than a $2 chocolate bar in the dollar store. Then I am told to use it as a gift card except I tried another 8 times to do that but there is no pin number either. It is now 4a.m. and I was unable to even get the birthday gift that I bought this for and still wondering why people do this. People are just cruel now and this company is definitely one of the worst. I even got told that there was no manager that I could speak too at one point. Lord help us all when people like this are the ones running this country.

This company should be shut down and the CEO arrested for theft. For one they have zero fine print about any of their workings. These people were used as a third party by my tax prep for a refund advance. First off, they charge you astronomical fees and I never once even got to see, agree, or decline any of them. This on top of my $700 tax prep bill. I was also lied to about getting an estimate prior to it actually being submitted. Wrong, click and confirmed only to wait 24 hrs for the portal to update and show what they already charged. You get a very small advance for a very large fee. This took over 72 hours to receive btw, when it stated same day. False advertising at least 3 times. So I had to eat this which made me upset after spending more then my advance was in total. Now after waiting over a month for Path to lift by the IRS, I receive my date of 2/22 by the IRS not EPS. I chose direct deposit to my own bank because they send deposits 5 days early. Wrong again. My refund was issued and released on Feb 16 to EPS who never informed me, had their fees paid and are now holding my $7,000 to gain interest for almost a week. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this stealing? $4,100 of that does not belong to them and it takes 30 seconds to electronically transfer money. These people robbed me blind from the start and every minute they gain more off my hard earned money. If I did this to a person I'd be handcuffed and thrown in Federal Prison. Not 1 person including my tax prep from minority tax warned me, could explain to me or correct this crime. I will be filing against them next. Please fix this, multiple false advertising, trickery to get you to accept without knowing fees even when asked, then straight holding my money without my permission? If this is my account I want my money transferred immediately to my account on file. I will take the next step and press criminal charges next if I have to. Scamming working people trying to feed their children. Criminal
