    After appointments in Jan 2025, on Feb 6, I brought my mother (99) to **** ******* office at Bristols Hearing Solutions in Rapid City, SD, to pick up the Phonak top line hearing aids she had paid >$6,000.00 at the previous appointment, which he kept saying were ordered, but not arrived yet. On that day, saying these were her hearing aids, he handed her (with apologies) a pair of hearing aids loosely piled into an unmarked box with their charger, and briefly reviewed how they fit in the charger. Said he was in a rush, had to go to Oklahoma because of a death in the family, and would call upon return to set appointment for fitting adjustments.
    My mother continually stated these hearing aids are no help at all, so the next time at her house, I inspected them closely, finding that they are not even Phonak, but instead are a completely different brand. He had suggested Phonak, and told her they would be the most effective help for her profound hearing loss. The other brand is more suited for younger people whose concern is conversation in loud busy places.
    I have left numerous messages on his office phone, and email, but have received no response. I have gone to his very respectable appearing office at all times of day, but no one is there. I asked at the office next door (******** *********) only to learn that he had not been there for several weeks, that many customers like me had been coming looking for him, but they had no idea what might be going on.
    The resolution we are requesting is to receive the top-of-the-line Phonak hearing aids that he took payment for, and to receive the promised fitting and aftercare as is normally provided by audiology centers such as Bristols Hearing Solutions purport to be. Whether any or all of this comes from Bristols Hearing Solutions or from some other provider would make no difference to us. We are willing to return these non-Phonak hearing aids promptly after receiving what my mother has already paid him for.

    On behalf of my aunt ***** ******* a check was written-2/21/2025, for a new set of hearing aids, in the amount of $3,293.00.
    To be delivered within a month. After several calls, with no call backs, from the period of February-June. I stopped by the office and found several packages and notes. On or around May 7th, when I stopped by **** ******* was there, and showed me her hearing aids. He and I sat in his office, and he scheduled to come to Westhills Nursing home, on Friday, May 9th, where ** ***** was rehabbing from a fall, . He never showed up or called. After several more calls and no call backs, I stopped by his office again first part of June. Another business was in where his office had been.
    I did contact ** ******* lawyer and am waiting for a call back. l am totally frustrated and not sure where to turn.

    February 22, 2024, purchased a set of hearing aids from Bristol Hearing.
    Problem started late fall of 2024. The hearing aids were not working properly and visited with **** ***** the owner of business and many unanswered questions, phone calls and lack of being at his place of business was frustrating. **** had kept the aids at one point in early 2025 and stated that because he couldn't fix them, he would send the pair into the company to be looked at. Several times of trying to find him at his business and lack of answering his phone, I don't have my hearing aids. Yesterday stopping at his business to find out **** is gone with no forwarding information where to be found and lack of having my hearing aids that cost $4,043.00 is very upsetting.

    On Dec 31,2024 I paid $4,390 for a pair of hearing aids. I returned them in February and have not received a refund. **** ***** kept telling me the company would be in touch. Today, May 27, 2025 I stopped by his office and it was empty.
