    A bat flew into my home on the night of 8/21/25. My wife and I could not get the bat out of the home as it flew upstairs. I called ****** ****** at ACE Pest Control after calling other businesses with no luck. ****** did not give me a quote to get the bat out until after he sent two men out to get it, which took about five minutes to do. ****** then quoted a cash price of $826. I said I was not comfortable paying $826 in cash via Venmo. He then sent me an invoice after constantly asking for one several days later and the total came to $1,062. I have been told by both ******** Pest Control and ** *** ********** to not pay this price, and that they have had to assist others in getting fair prices from ****** in the past. ****** pushed a cash payment and refused to give me an itemized invoice until recently. After consulting with other firms and services, I told ****** that he will receive $500, which is what he originally quoted my father when he asked for a quote for a hypothetical situation regarding bat removal under the same conditions but in a town further away. ****** runs an unethical business and has been known to price gouge others to the point that even other pest control companies have confronted him about his business practices and shoddy services. There were other times where ****** would want me to call, and when I did he didn't answer his phone. He even refused to send an itemized bill despite having my home address, which I told him to directly send to. It is in the best interest of future customers needing pest removal that they seek services elsewhere as ****** is dishonest, disrespectful, difficult to work with, and refuses to render ethical services for reasonable prices.
