On July 9 I updated my Debit card information with this company, I was instantly charged about USD $65, which I did not expect. I immediately contacted this company by email, whose services I had used a few years before, but which services I allowed to lapse some years ago. I told them that I had not intended to subscribe, and that they had charged my debit card, and I asked for a refund. This was their reply: Subject: Re: cancel my account #*********** Allow Subject Date: 05:55 AM MDT, 07/09/24 From: "UsenetServer" Add to Contacts Block Sender Allow Sender To: [email protected] New reply for the ticket #*********** Hello, We have forwarded this request to our billing specialist to be reviewed. You can expect an update on this matter within a few business days. If you need any assistance in the meantime, please reach out to us in a new email ticket. Thank you for your patience. Regards, UsenetServer Support #*********** -------------------------------------------------------- It has now been about three weeks, the company has not responded at all, and now they are not replying to my email messages. I have NOT used their service since this improper charge was made to my Debit card, and I do not want their service. They have have had ample time to issue a refund, and now they refuse to reply to my email messages. I simply want a refund, as I have not used their services, and do not want their services.

Hello.  We voided this transaction on July 9, 2024.  We also replied to the customer on that date, but maybe they did not receive our email or it went to their spam/junk folder..?  I have attached a screenshot showing the voided transaction.

    Regards,
    UNS Support

Merchant has been charging my credit card for a legacy service plan that doesn't exist while keeping my account inactive. Even allowed me to signup for a temporary service plan last time i logged in while still billing me for a yearly plan that doesn't exist. Once they had my credit card, they went in and updated my expiration date this year in order to continue to charge my account. They owe me for at least two years of service fees which were not provided @ $119.40/yr. Attachments show their records of my billing history (minus these phantom charges), yet my credit card states otherwise. Included the latest transaction this month but can provide my 7/23 statement where the same charge was executed last year. Also included is my account status which says that it's inactive and likely has been for at least a couple years now.

    Customer Answer

I was able to get in contact with them through email and they did refund this year's unauthorized payment. They did not communicate about this same charge being applied at least in 2023.
