On May 13, 2025, I purchased four Tires from RnR tire store in ******, ******. On May 28th I paid RnR Tires 600 dollars by Credit card. I told the Cashier I wanted to Pay 5 months same as cash as offered to consumers from their store. On the contract I signed when I purchased the tires stated that the total price for the Tires was going to be $957.60. When the Cashier handed me my receipt she informed me that I owed a balance of 596.84 left to pay. I said, That is not correct ,I should only owe $357.60. I then told her I need to speak to the manager. The manager looked at my account and said that I owed $447.16, because the Total amount did not include 89.56 Tax.. I said the "total amount " due does not say on my contract "plus Tax". Total amount due means total amount due. we discussed this back and forth for about 20 minutes. The manager never agreed with me. He Hand wrote me a receipt saying , "The Balance due on my account is $447.16". I feel as though I wasn't treated fairly and I should have been given a printed receipt for my credit card Payment that I paid on May 28th 2025 in the store. I want a Real receipt with the correct Balance on it. I really don't know what to expect for a receipt the next time I am in there to make a payment..Business Response

Customer’s Complaint Overview:
On May 13, 2025, ***** purchased a set of four tires, and on May 28, she made a $600 payment by credit card.
She believed her remaining balance should have been $357.60 based on her understanding of the original agreement.
She expressed confusion over the final amount due, particularly around taxes and a portion of the payment being applied to a Premium Care Program (PCP), which she stated she did not intend to purchase.
She also expressed confusion that her receipt did not show her the correct balance and didn't understand where her $600 payment went.
Steps Taken to Resolve by senior operations manager:
We reviewed her account and confirmed that $148.38 of her $600 payment had been applied toward the PCP.
I reached out to ***** and clearly explained the breakdown of her payment and how the PCP works, including the benefits and coverage it provides.
She asked if the Premium Care Program was required with any tire purchase. I told her that it was recommended but not required, and she said that she only wanted tires and didn't realize that she signed up for that coverage.
I sent ***** photos via text and email showing:
Her PCP Enrollment
How payments were applied
Her current EPO balance
I offered to apply the $148.38 from the PCP to her tire balance upon her written confirmation to cancel the program.
She responded confirming she wanted to cancel the Premium Care Program.
I will get the $148.38 applied to her tires as ***** and I discussed on the phone.
She left the call and satisfied, and thanked me for reaching out.Initial Complaint

They have been threatening me for the past 2 months now. I have told them twice to come and get the tires. I talked to them on Friday may 2nd and I said "come and get your tires" and the rep said they would come out the next day to get them. The next day, I left my home around 8:30 am on Saturday May 3rd, and I noticed one of their vehicles passing me by as I was leaving my home street. I came home about 2 hours later and noticed they slashed my tires, all four of them. I can't even move my truck because of this. This is very deceptive. I reported them to the state attorney general's office and they have not responded to them either. They left the tires on the truck but all four are now slashed and flat! I am a disabled veteran and I fought hard for this country. The sales manager called me back in March of this year, making threats to come and get my tires off of my truck. I kept telling them my issue with the payment plans, and they kept insisting that I make the payments on the account. I informed them that I am a disabled veteran and that I get paid once a month from the VA since I don't work at all. They are just very deceptive and rude.Business Response

First and foremost, we would like to sincerely thank you for your service.
As a company that proudly supports our military and employs many veterans,
including myself, we truly appreciate your dedication and sacrifice. We are
reaching out to follow up on your account regarding the tire purchase made at
our ************, ** location on March 3, 2025. The tires were installed on
your vehicle that same day, and a monthly payment plan was set up, with
payments due on the 1st of each month. Your first payment was due on April 1st
but was not received. After reviewing our recorded calls, we confirmed that our
team contacted you on April 4th to discuss the account. At that time, you
stated you would be in that evening or by 9 a.m. on April 5th to make the
payment. Unfortunately, that commitment was not met. We reached out again on
April 7th, and you assured us payment would be made by 9 a.m. on April 8th.
Again, no payment was received. On April 18th, you offered to settle the
account on April 30th when you expected to be paid, and in the meantime,
suggested bringing in $80 by April 19th. However, neither payment was made, and
no further communication was received from you on those dates. On May 2nd,
during our most recent outreach, you informed us that you had removed the tags
and no longer carried insurance on the vehicle, offering for us to retrieve the
tires. Our account manager visited your residence to recover the product, but
due to the truck being parked on sand, a jack could not be used safely. As a
temporary measure, the valve cores were removed to deflate the tires. The
following day, the account manager returned with proper equipment and
successfully retrieved the tires. As of now, your account has been closed.
Since only one month was paid and the tires were in your possession for over 60
days, no refund is due. We appreciate your understanding and again, thank you
for your service.Customer Answer

In August 2024 I purchased 4 new tires on 6 months same as cash at the **** ******* La location. First issue was the tire low sensors no longer worked, but they worked when I took the truck in for new tires. I was told over the phone by the manager that they could fix them, but I would have to pay. Shortly in on the payments, my paydates changed. I called and was told by Billy that I could come in and sign a new lease changing the dates to align with my pay dates. When I went by, I was told that I couldn't do that, and that no one had told me that I could. So, I told them my payments would be on the Monday after the due date, I couldn't do anything different. In January 2025, I called and spoke with Cory and asked when my 6 months was up, as my paperwork had gotten destroyed by water. He told me that it was Feb 20, 2025. I called on Feb 15th to pay the account off, with what I thought was final payment, and was told that my 6 months was up February 9, so now I owed another $1200 dollars, over the cash price of the tires. After having been lied two by the manager, who is also slightly rude, I didnt even complain, just continued paying the notes. On March 14, I missed 27 calls from ************* their phone number, and had several texts because my payment was late. I called and told them it would be on Monday, like always. I received more calls and texts on March 15. I called and paid on March 17, and complained to Cory about the excessive calls, and he agreed and said he would notify the manager. On 5/2/25, I have missed 22 calls, and 4 messages from them. When I text back, the person continued texting after I told them I would pay Monday, saying it wasnt acceptable, and that they were sending someone to come get my equipment. I requested that the not text me more than once a day, and the proceeded to text me multiple times, saying I lied, and refused to give me their name or an employee ID. Their poor grammar & spelling aligns with their professionalism.Business Response

We bought some rims and tires paid them off. And then the breaks needed replacing. I called rnr and asked them to lossen up the nuts because they tighten one of the tires bolts too tight. But they refused to do so. My wife and I called there corporate office but no one will call me back. When I call them they just say someone will call me back but no one ever does. I have been trying to get it off by myself but it has been taken me too long. And we need it off so me and my wife can get back and fourth to work.Business Response

My 6 months “same as cash” deal with RNR was done in July of 2024. As of today, 8/19/2024 they took out another payment today- mind you i paid every 13th on automatic withdraw. The payments were done. I never missed a payment. And they now are saying I was supposed to call and make sure my debt was clear which was never stated or put in my contract. And now it’s continuing to be an 18 month lease instead of a 6 month lease, which was never stated either. I’m not paying an extra $3,000+ on tires that I have fully paid off and signed for on the contract just for me to be told something else. This is why we have contracts.Business Response

I have had at least four accounts with the Estes Parkway location and send multiple referrals . We have never had a problem from the former manager Joseph. We have spent probably close to $10,000 there . We will NEVER purchase another item. Lee from Florida has come in as the manager “to get things straight and build clients” he will do nothing but lose clientele. He is abrasive , rude , and threatening. He has his collections to so rude we had an exchange of words that made me cry and they are now only supposed to speak to my husband but they still call. I get so many harassing collection calls and auto calls it’s worse than telemarketers. Whatever you have decided to change , you chose poorly. I’ll never send another person there nor go. I asked them to look at my tire it was making horrible noise . They never took wheel off said “look through here definitely change your rotators, it’s definitely the problem” two days later my calipers collapsed lines collapsed and brake system failure at 75 on I-30 in Texarkana. Thanks Lee and your inferior team of idiots. Maybe even have your “collections” harassment team take a course in civility. I hope you choose to give Joseph back his management position or shut the place down. It’s a disgrace and nothing but harassment . We’ve paid all the sets of wheels and tires within 6 months . Because we have situations that have come up of serious nature I don’t feel like I should be threatened with field visits and repossessions for a few days late. But don’t worry we will be paid off and never returning after October 5.Business Response

The tires that were put on my car are not acceptable.I purchased set of tires in April 2024 from day one they are very noisy sounds like they gonna fly off car they are not the right size my car runs a 205 50 17
They put 215 45 17 on my car .now before said tires were installed I heard nothing . These tires as I said are very noisy. Now on Monday the 29th of May I went for a rotation and them to check tires I was there maybe a half hour . They said tires were fine .but they did not rotate said tires I know because they lost a center cap when originally installed if rotated the missing cap tire should be on right front but Is still in same spot since tires were put on car. He drove and said it was my car no not my car had it checked . Beside that I'm supposed to believe that a completely quiet car went from no noise to what I hear did not happen til they put said tires on car . No noise what so ever and their is nothing wrong with my car.Business Response

To whom it may concern:
We would be happy to service the customer and her issues, but the condition of her vehicle is preventing RNR Tires from being able to perform any work. When she arrived at the store to receive service her vehicle had obviously been in an accident. She admitted to hitting a deer with the vehicle. We advised the customer of the issues with her car and let her know when the mechanical problems were fixed, we would be happy to help her. The offer still stands. Once the car is mechanically sound we will be happy to see what is causing her tire issues.

Was put on a 6 month same as cash payment plan on a brand new set of wheels and tires totaling 2514.96 plus tax on Dec 23, 2023. Almost back in Florida my car starts swerving and I immediately called them to let them know what was going on. They told me I could bring it back to check it. I told them I was almost home and I'll bring it back when I had to return back to work. On Jan 3, 2024 I brought the car back and they align it again.. I told him my concerns and he said it was just the tires they are new give it a little while. I travel for work and on April 24, 2024 I realized both my front tires are going bald. She said I can bring it up there. I took my car up there and after 4 hours was told it was an alignment issue even though they did my alignment on my car twice that it was not covered by they insurance and I should of continued checking on my car even though I only had the BRAND NEW SET OF RIMS AND TIRES FOR 4 MONTHS. Never missed a payment and the worker at the desk said I will have to buy 2 new tires. I should not have to check on brand new tires after 4 months. And after just reading the paper it states that my tires are 215/55r when they put 235/45zr18 on my car. Don't know if that made a difference but the right tire size should of been on the alignment paper I would think.Business Response

I purchased a brand new set of wheels and tires… I took the car in to be balanced and rotated which took 1h 45m to do when I left the car was bouncing all over the road… I called the store to ask if they forgot to balance the tires because it wasn’t doing this when I took it in… they said no we balanced the tires you just have a bent wheel… (which they did not tell me about in the store because it was still under warranty and they didn’t want to replace it) I explained that I was going out of town and I was told to bring it back in and they would try to balance it “better” I told them no I would take it elsewhere to have it looked at… I took it to ***** **** in Paducah and was told not one but 2 of my wheels were bent horribly and that two of my tires needed to be replaced ASAP… I reached back out to the store and was called a liar… I then reached out to corporate and explained the issues I was having and was told to send proof of the findings. I emailed the proof and the next day got an offer for them to make it right with new wheels and two new tires… meanwhile I had to buy new ones before leaving ***** because it was so dangerous to be driving the car in that condition. Thank God I didn’t put my children in it and travel to FL over 600miles like that! These people are terrible to do business with and lack professionalism and respect for their customers. They also are very slow to respond to urgent complaints. I have requested a refund for the money I was out on these wheels and tires as they have been returned I was told they don’t do refunds by the Paducah store however their website states differently. This was a fraudulent sale and could have cost me and my children our lives.Business Response

We offered to replace the 2 front
tires from wear from non-rotation. We also offered to replace the 2 wheels that had bends or for her to come in and pick a new set no additional cost to her. Instead, she wanted to Return the wheels and tires."But
what I would like to recommend if you are intested is checking out some others
wheels we have in stock today that are BRAND NEW that we can swap out at no
charge.
We
currently have 3 brand new sets of 18” Wheels at the store today. – if you don’t
like any of these, I can check another Nerby store in Marion, IL to see what I
can delivered down to Paducah Today.
That way you can have
a complete set of brand-new wheels, 2 brand new tires all in perfect condition
for your upcoming trip."Initial Complaint
