HORRIBLE BUSINESS! I financed my car through them a year ago. I paid $2k extra for a warranty through another company (great company and not their fault) however I voluntarily repoed my car (got a new one) they didn’t put it as a voluntary. Then 3 days after they repoed it they put it in the shop trying to use my warranty that I paid for! I didn’t give them permission to do this and called the day it was taken and told them to cancel it(said they would and didn’t). When I found out it wasn’t canceled I talked to the warranty company and they told me they need my permission to fix the vehicle that I didn’t give. I called and told them to cancel the warranty. Brandon yelled at me and told me that he doesn’t need my permission (when they do) and that he was fixing it to sell for more money. This is not okay, to use someone else’s warranty to try and fix the vehicle and get over on them. No!

1 starMs S****** called my phone today 12/13/2024 at **** pm left a few voicemail and i returned her call at ****pm. When i answered the phone she was extremely rude and hostile in me solving my small account with security finance. Very loud, over talking, threatening me. Very unethical and abusive. 1 starI submitted a 1099 to cancel the debt of my vehicle. I made several attempts to get the correct contact information so that I could successfully process my 1099 with the IRS but they refused to get me the information I’m entitled to. They constantly keep collecting money from me. I a retired veteran on a fixed income and I am very dissatisfied with the service I received. After filing a complaint with CFPB. The company responded by accusing me of incompetence and insulted me with using words like she must be confused etc. I know the consumer laws and I am acting out the advice given to me by my consumer lawyer and I am trying to avoid suing Security Finance for securities Fraud!Review fromMelanie F

Received a phone call from this company in July stating my loan was approved. I don’t live in El Paso and I never reached out to them for a loan. Someone obviously is trying to pretend to be me and the loan actually got approved. I called the office and spoke to a lower level loan lady and she said oh it’s ok we’ll just delete it. I said no this is unprofessional as someone reached out to you to obtain a loan with my info. She then transferred me a “supervisor” who had zero clue what was going on and also mentioned, well just delete it. Zero resolve and total lack of concern from this “loan service company.”Security Group, Inc
