    They call multiple times a day in a harassing manner. This needs to stop.

    Williams & Fudge is reporting a collection account to ******* with an alleged balance of $4,150. I have no record or contract related to this account and was never notified in writing within 5 days of reporting, as required under the ***** 809(a).I previously disputed this account and requested proper validation, but I received no documentation, such as a signed agreement, itemized billing, or verification of debt ownership. This raises concerns about the accuracy and legitimacy of this reporting, which violates the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA 607(b)).Requested Resolution:Delete the account from all credit bureaus or provide full verification, including contractual proof, itemized charges, and evidence of lawful collection authority.

    Upon notification of the complaint the account history was reviewed against the allegations.  *** had previously contacted the creditor, and they provided validation documentation for the balance placed at *** at the time. This is attached to the response and was sent to the consumer on 6/4/2025.  The consumer had previously made a payment arrangement with WFI on 4/29/2025.  WFI is providing the consumer account level detail as it exists in their system of record, which reflects multiple payment attempts, both successful and unsuccessful. *** validated the debt by sending a model validation notice on 4/29/2025.  *** encourages the consumer to contact our office to assist in helping to resolve the consumers remaining balance with the creditor.  WFI confirmed the balance information placed by the creditor, as well as specific information provided by the creditor to ensure the accuracy of any data furnished to the credit reporting agency is accurate as reported.  As the account has been disputed, whether; valid or invalid dispute, *** has updated the tradeline with their most recent reporting on 7/15/20025.  This may take 3-5 days to be updated by the ***********************.     July 3rd I called Williams and Fudge due to continuous harassing calls to friends and family. Williams and Fusge at no point has made an attempt to contact me directly because I answer all calls. ****** Williams answered and asked was I ****** ******* and I said yes, the call was recorded on my end also. I informed him that I did not consent to verbal contact and he laughed and said my research was cute.

    An agent of Williams and Fudge debt collector named ******* ******** called me on Monday, May the 12th 2025. During this call, he directly violated 15 U.S.C. 1692e, 15 U.S.C. 1692g, and 15 U.S.C. 1692d.

    Upon notification of the complaint the account history was reviewed against the allegations.  *** contacted the creditor, and they provided verification documentation.  The documentation provided detail as to how the balance was created and confirmed the balance owed to the creditor. Upon review of the complaint, it was confirmed a technology challenge occurred causing a delay in the toggling of systems, as to where the consumers account was not presented to the agent in a timely fashion.     I am rejecting this response because:
    Seems as if they are placing me at fault, *** never authorized anything regarding this company and would greatly appreciate if they could provide anything saying otherwise.

    *** is awaiting a response from the creditor, which is out of class for the season.  In lieu of this documentation being received and provided to the consumer, *** submitted an electronic close request to the credit reporting agency to remove the previously reported information on 5/15/2025, as stated in it's previous response.  Upon receipt of the documentation from the creditor, *** shall provide it to the consumer at thier address provided inthis complaint.  WFI apologizes for the delay,  however it does not have influence over the universities business hours or personnel.
