      We engaged this business to provide a landscape redesign and implementation of the plan. The quote for the work was $18,000. We paid an initial payment of $9,000. The business began to 'implement' the plan months later than agreed to, pulled plants and trees from the ground and left them with root balls exposed for weeks during heat wave and without water, resulting in death of plants and trees. Broke water lines and caused damage to brick facades. Billed for services which were never performed. Lied about performing services which were documented to never have been performed. When asked to remedy the numerous and repeated defects in the work, such as planting trees in wrong locations or in such a way as to provide no opportunity for the trees to take root (as evidenced by their ultimate death), they failed to take action. Business stopped responding and answering calls or texts. Ultimately business was terminated for breach of contract. Ultimately, to remedy the damages caused by the business, we will have to spend $12,000. We sent a letter of termination and offering to resolve any outstanding issues and money owed. We never had any response or contact from the business. Months later we received a letter from an attorney demanding $19,000 with no supporting documentation and alleging to file suit. We have sent letters and called to try and resolve this but no one answers or returns our calls. We have at all times continued to try and work this out amicably but instead only receive legally threatening letters.
