    I attended the presentation at Litchfield on August 19, 2022. During the presentation we were told that we would receive very big savings when booking all kinds of vacations. Initially the cost to join this club was $8,000.00 we were then offered a special rate and finally paid $5000.00. When I have compared the savings with other cruise lines, other vacation businesses the savings is minimal, if any. We were told that they price match, honestly who cares, as I could already get the price at another vacation seller, but I've had to waste my time price comparing. I've tried to call but have only received a call from an administrative clerk who could not help me or I get transferred to someone else, only to get a voicemail with no returned call!! I would like my money back. This is absolutely a scam!! We have went on two different vacations for MUCH less. My next stop is to our attorney. I would rather give him the money to take it to court than let them continue to rip people off!!

    Several staff members of the Charter Club as well as the owner have reached out to **************** in an effort to address her concerns. Per the terms of the agreement and attached disclosures, the members website specifically regarding cruises is for research only. Regulations prevent publication or pricing. ******* must be booked with a concierge agent who will provide final pricing and rebates. Rebates (wholesale discounts) are paid to members after travel is completed. All of this information is included in documentation and disclosures. The sales office does not book travel. I will follow the case.

    This is a blatant lie. I have not received one call or email from them. I have resolved that we will not be able to get any help from this company. All that I can say is buyers beware! It is a scam. A reputable company would NOT have this many complaints on the BBB. I really wished I would have looked at BBB before giving them my money!

    I contacted the *** Reservation Desk and there is no record of any contact or request to book a cruise or any other travel request. In the original complaint the customer says she received one call back but in the follow up claim states she has "not received one call". If there is any unfulfilled request for travel, please forward to ***************************************** and if the company is unable to fulfill its obligation per the terms of the agreement I will follow up with whatever appropriate measures are to resolve the complaint.

    On Friday, January 6, 2023 my husband and myself attended a Charter Club presentation. They offered ** $100 in dining certificates, plus, a January bonus of a 8/7 day Resort Condominium Vacation certificate good for a year. Also, we could get "hot" vacation values of $199/week or possibly ever $99, sent out every Thursday based on availability. In addition, 2 family members could use the *** vacation portion. The club price was $9000+, but now marked down to $8900 and for our group it would be $7,900. The first couple to book would get another $1000 off. Following the presentation, we went with *****. We told her condo vacations didn't interest us. However, we do stay at Litchfield Beach Club every winter, because of their special winter rates. ***** said this Charter Club would give us savings on that. We questioned these savings. She opened her iPad and showed us an ad for 25% off. We were interested in saving 25% for our winter booking. Then she said we could join the ****** Club for Litchfield Beach and we could get the *** vacations club free for a year. Then she upped it to membership in *** vacations for life, with 2 family members. We accepted, based on the savings for our winter rental. We paid $3000 for the Charter Club, plus a $499 "documentation" fee, which we felt we would make up in future years. The transaction was finalized by *****. He told us we got the cheapest deal and not to tell any of the others. When we logged into the Charter Club, we found we could only book 2 week vacations at Litchfield, contrary to what ***** told us. We feel we were misled and that ***** misrepresented our benefits. We have since then booked our own winter rental with no benefit from being in the Charter Club. Also, many of the "deals" on ************* were already sold out on the day they were listed. There are no club benefits for us, as presented, and we want a full refund.

    A new representative was assigned to Mrs ********* and incorrectly gave the information that the discounts charter members receive translates to monthly winter rentals. Our agents have attempted to contact the client numerous times to resolve the matter but have been unable to reach the client. We are committed to providing the client a refund but must speak with them to gather the necessary documents for their file. We all that Mrs ********* return our calls to settle this outstanding issue.

    Signed up at North ********************** Resort in Myrtle ********************** on 10/11/2022. We were given access to our member website on 10/13 ****BUYER BEWARE**** We were lied to. I wrote a lengthy review with specific examples, but it was over the *** characters. So to sum up: We were told we would have massive travel discounts. We were told we could access these discounts through our membership website with our personal license number. I researched and price shopped, and never saw these discounts. I spoke with 3 different travel concierges and was told conflicting information. Specifically, at the presentation, we asked about flights and cruises. We were told there were discounts, and shown examples. It was only after we talked to 3 different travel concierges that we discovered that there are no flight discounts since flight prices are regulated, and that cruise discounts only come after booking for full price in the form of a rebate check. We were also told that we would have access to discounted travel through our member website, but after speaking with the travel concierge, it was revealed that it's best to book with the travel concierge every time. There is nothing convenient or independent about that. We are seeking a full refund. We were presented with a service and that service in which we paid for was not delivered. We were deceived. This is not buyers remorse, since we would have gladly paid for the service, if it had been true, but is was a lie. They repeated several times that they are not a timeshare, and this may be true, but the sales pitch is still the same. They are every bit as deceptive. They will pray on your emotions in order to take your money. Don't be fooled!

    The company disputes the false claims made in this complaint. In order to eliminate misunderstandings, each client is required to initial and sign an Acknowledgment of Representation prior to entering into a purchase agreement. There are 16 specific items that require initials and signature of each purchaser allowing them to affirm they are making an informed judgement regarding the purchase. This document was properly executed. The buyers acknowledged the following. (13) Were you told you would receive discount on air fares? The buyers initialed (NO). (16) You understand that cruises must be booked with an agent to receive net pricing. Online prices displayed are standard fares..The buyers initialed (YES). Discounts on cruises are regulated and mailed as rebate checks after the cruise. (7) Do you understand that RSI unlike dot com sources backs its travel delivery system with full service concierge who will book your travel. Buyer acknowledged (YES). Most net prices cannot be published and must be booked with a concierge agent. We are selling a travel service which should actually be more convenient. It is disingenuous for the buyer to assert they were lied to as they each read, initialed and place signatures affirming an understanding of the program prior to entering into any agreement. The company stands ready to fulfill its obligations in accordance to the terms of the service agreement.

    We attended a presentation on Oct. 29,2022. As with some many other people, we were misled about the amount of money and discounts that were available for members of the Charter Club. With so many complaints about the same thing, I think it is obvious that they are not providing what they advertise. You cannot go to the North Beach Plantation site and see the rooms that you want to book, unless you want a four- or five-bedroom unit. We told the presenters that we were staying in a two-bedroom unit and were so disappointed. He assures us that we would be able to see the unit through Charter Club before we booked next time. And, like the other complaints, you pay a membership to save 5% more than the public off of your rental. They are misleading and misrepresenting what they are selling. If you try to book a room in a hotel anywhere you cannot see the room you are booking, it is just a generic picture that says, "we have no information about this room". If you do see the room, it is at a higher cost and no savings. Cruises are the same, you cannot see the room you are trying to book or choose the deck you want to be on without paying more. I have never felt so lied to in anything I have ever purchased. I called several times, and no one will return my call. I did receive an email from the presenter of the program, but his response did not address the problem. Of course, he just said that he did not say "you can choose your room" during the presentation. We attended with another couple that was traveling with us and they heard the same thing. Do not waste your time or money. They adjust the price from the original advertised price to make you feel like you are getting a deal. This is no deal for sure.

    We spoke to Mrs ***** at great length to discuss her issues with the platform.
    One of her issues was viewing rooms prior to booking. On the North Beach website most, nearly all the 1-5 bedroom villas and homes are available to view as well as 4-5 bedroom condos. This is the majority of the inventory. The presentation explains that many (but not all) units can be seen on the site and we often show live examples if any client would like to see.

    Mrs ***** has already used her service and saved money on everything that she booked. She informed the company that she booked a rental car in Galveston TX for 2 days and saved $35 over what calling budget directly offered. The site advertised a savings of $74 which compares directly to the budget website. By calling Budget directly the agent was able to decrease the price and of course our site has no way of taking into account additional savings offered over the phone. She also informed the company that she booked 2 nights at a hotel in Galveston, TX. She also saved money on this reservation. She said when she views the rooms at the hotel, there is no description of the room and just simply says no data available. The room descriptions are pulled directly off of the hotels website. We called the hotel on her behalf to find out exactly what a Standard suite consists of and then emailed her with the details of the room. Pictures of the room are likewise pulled directly off of the hotel website. With respect to our cruise program, we ask and highlight in our contract, that all cruises should be handled by our cruise reservation concierge as they provide all of the information on cabins, ships, pricing etc. The website is a tool to get an idea of cruise lines, destinations, dates, availability but by simply speaking to one of our reservation agents you can get any and all information one may need on details of a cruise.
    The company has attempted to contact Mr. ***** numerous times since her return from TX and we have not heard any response. Regarding her issues, we informed her that going forward we will assist her in using and understanding how the platform works to ensure she realizes more benefit in addition to what she already has saved. In order to help, we would like her to return our calls and or emails.

    Yes, I did use the program and that is how I know that it is not as advertised. Again, I disagree that we were told that we would not be able to see the 2-bedroom units at North Beach Plantation. His comment that we spoke at length consist of I phone call that lasted 15 minutes tops. I have not returned the one call, and one text, I received since returning from Texas because the excuses and denials continue. The CharterClub website and the hotel website do not reflect the same pictures as stated in his remarks. Yes, he did call and check to see what type of room I booked but at that point it didn't really matter since the hotel was non-refundable. I will be happy to except a refund minus the $100 in savings I received. This program is not as advertised.

During the presentation we were told that we would receive very big savings on top of what North Beach offers along with huge savings when booking all kinds of vacations. We told them we were most interested in the savings at North Beach. For a one week vacation we would save ***** So we have literally paid ***** this year to save **** at North Beach. When I have compared the savings with other cruise lines, other vacation businesses the savings is minimal, if any. We were told that they price match, honestly who cares, as I could already get the price at another vacation seller, but I've had to waste my time price comparing.     9/10/22 We signed up for Charter Club Memebership. We were told we would have access to the website in 48nrs. As of 9/16 no access. Attempted contact via email twice & left voicemail no response until 9/20/22. Rocky their representative called to let us know it was an oversight, new person. We let him know we wanted a refund we do not have confidence or trust after not fulfilling as originally promised. We called Rocky 9/21/22 and emailed again asking for a refund. Per Rocky he has turned over to his management and someone will reach out to us today.
    We are requesting a full refund. Still no response yet from upper management

    My wife and I attended a sales presentation at Litchfield Beach and Golf resort in May 0f 2022. One of the selling points for us was the availability to book weeks at Litchfield at a discounted rate through the sales office,
    We planned to travel for labor day and started to try booking through the office, I called and left voicemails in July with no response. I began calling daily and even multiple times a day and never received a response. I sent repeated emails as well asking to book through the program for our travel over the Labor Day Holiday, I sent 7 emails on Aug. 13 and 14 with no response. I have 30 calls in the call log on my phone from August 13 and on into August without a returned call. I feel mislead about the ease of booking through the company at Litchfield and find the lack of customer service extremely disappointing. There were no delays in collecting my money at the sales presentation. I see no point in paying for a program that I can not access and request a refund of the money paid so far a total of *** dollars.

    I stayed at North Beach Plantation in July and went to the presentation about buying a whole sellers membership. I was supposed to get better rates than the public gets when buying hotels, airfare, rental cars, etc. So my wife started checking the rates on the hotel rooms immediately after getting the log on information to find that the rates were also most the same as the public gets. So we got the membership on a Saturday and we called on Tuesday bc the office isnt open on Mondays for some help no one called us back so I put a hold on my credit card. Chris finally called back 35 days later i guess after getting the email from the credit card company, he asked me a few questions and i told him he would need to speak to my wife he said he was going to call her but never called her and responded to the credit card company that he reached out to us and he sent them some photos of the rooms with a big savings, it was probably to same photos he showed us in the meeting to get us to buy the membership. This place is full of it. You really dont save any money by have this membership well not the amount that Chris said we would save. It a scam so be aware and doing buy memberships from The Charter Club b/c its not worth it!!!!

    GM, Just wanted to update you on communication with the Charter Club. Yesterday ********** number texted me asking me if i was able to send over some traveling options that i didn't see any saving on. I responded "ive been waiting to hear back from ***** for 3 week and no i did see any rooms, flights or local hotels that had a savings on them. " Then they never responded back. So i am thinking they received the compliant from you guys and just to show that they reached out he sent me that text to verify in hopes i would not respond because who sends out a generic text with no introduction asking questions in 2022 with all the scams going on today. Then when i ask who is the he responds Charter Club not with a contact name or nothing. This is a shady to me.

I ask for him to give ************ number and he said that they don't have a corporate number then I ask for his name he said ********************* Directory of Operations. I asked if he was the one that did our presentation he said no but I think he was the one bc the voice sounds familiar and guy going the presentation said he was over everything but on the paper work it says ***** was the agent. I'm waiting for him to call back he said that he was going to look over our contract so when he calls back I'm going to ask for ***** last name. Just wanted to send u an update.

    We signed up for charter club membership in June 2022. During the sales presentation claims were made that we will receive ****** discount on bookings through the club. It was also states that these discounts are beyond the publicly available discounts that are listed on the Litchfield Beach and golf resort. In reality, charter club members receive only ** discount compared to the current publicly available discount on the website of Litchfield Beach. There were other claims states during the presentation about preferential treatment at Litchfield and local restaurant deals which were completely false and were just made up by the sales team. The restaurant discounts are basically coupons to dominos and other chains.
    The RSI service team is not useful at all and most of the time they claim that the hotel has not availability even if there are multiple rooms available in every other sites. Even if a quote provided it is often equal or slightly less than the discount available from the hotel.

    We basically paid thousands of dollars for couple percent of discounts. If we are lucky we might recoup some of the amount after decades thus we just prefinanced our savings from our own money.

    Before anybody even considers signing up make sure to read the actual contract because it will have no information about the discounts available at Litchfield nor any mentioning that it will be a lifetime benefit.

    My husband and I attended a Vacation Club presentation at North Beach Resort on March 29, 2022. Multiple examples of dramatic savings were showcased at the presentation. Upon purchasing and trying to use The Charter Club membership I repeatedly found better pricing on non-membership sites such as Expedia or direct bookings with properties. Additionally, we were told that we would receive up to *** discounts for future stays at North Beach - while a link was provided, the discounts are no more than the specials the resort offers anyone. Repeated calls were not returned, nor were emails responded to. After nearly 2 months of back and forth I filed a complaint with my bank which was not resolved in my favor, and is being appealed.

    The only return call we ever received was on July 12, 2022. A gentlemen named Mark said he was calling from a third party investigation team, though his number came up as the same number I had saved in my phone for The Charter Club. He was very menacing and tried to bully me into withdrawing my dispute with the bank. He said he would get back to me within 2 days once he had "codified" my evidence.

    We have received no goods or services from this purchase. The website is clunky and freezes/kicks you out constantly. There is virtually no customer service support, and if you do get through you get transferred to an inactive voicemail account.

    The presentation with Angie on March 29, 2022 was a complete misrepresentation of this service. I have not been able to find one single discount that compares to what was promoted. We are seeking a refund of the amount paid: ******** This company is entirely fraudulent and The Charter Club vacation concept is a complete scam.

    I have uploaded comparisons between Expedia and The Charter Club as well as copies of correspondence.
