  Publishing my first book, The Weight of the Stethoscope, was a deeply personal journey, one rooted in real-life nursing stories, years of hands-on experience, and a passion for uplifting others in the profession. I wanted the publishing process to reflect that same heart and care.

  From the very first call to the final proof, their team was professional, responsive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in bringing my vision to life.   I chose Palmetto Publishing based on my
  research, but after discussing my children’s picture book with Roy F****** and worked alongside Project Manager Julia M****** it was like a breath of fresh air. Julia’s responses were extremely timely on each submission and review. She made me the focus and let her experience offer the solutions. When Roy followed up at the end, he continued the great efficiency all the way to Print!!! Thank you Team, I truly appreciate your professionalism.

  Palmetto Publishing has earned the highest and best review that I can give it. Their work has been exceptional, very professional, and always on schedule. I had numerous questions during this process, and I always received a prompt and detailed response from my project manager, Kaitlyn N****. Kaitlyn was extremely helpful, guiding me through every step in this publishing process. Nick J****** handled the financial detail of my project in the same manner as Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn N**** and Nick J****** are a credit to Palmetto’s great reputation. There were no unexpected price increases or pressure to do more or spend more. Everything was up front. My sincere advice is that Palmetto Publishing is as good as it gets.

  I recently completed the publication of my novel with Palmetto Publishing, and the experience was outstanding.   I have been pleased to work with Palmetto Publishing on each of my four novels. The folks at Palmetto have been so helpful in guiding me through the entire process and with their help I once again have a beautiful book published. I have always found Jack and his staff straight shooters, delivering what they promise just as they promise.   I published my book * ***** *******- an Autobiography, with Palmetto Publishing in January 2021.
  While I find them to be knowledgeable I had to disclose to them that the people who bought and read my book found eight spelling errors.
  I can accept one or two errors but eight is jarring.
  I had to complain to Palmetto Publishing, not about the embarrassment or ask for a partial refund but about their reputation.
  They told me that the package that I had bought did not include proofreading, i.e. copy editing.
  I then had to clarify that Palmetto Publishing's reputation is at stake here.
  I told them that no entity should allow anything to leave their office with that many errors.
  In my world, and as it should be in yours, anyone should hold their reputation to the highest.
  My advice for authors is, clarify and insist that all works to contain no errors.
  Negotiate on their pricing packages because one fancy paragraph should not cost over a thousand dollars.
  I paid $5000 for Line editing and interior work including publishing on various platforms.
  The above review was initially submitted to ********** because PB's email address was not listed on BBB??? I found out they have a different address on BBB???
  PB responded via Trustpilot that Line editing (which is included in my $5000 package) does not correct spelling errors.
  So, did PB read my book, noted the spelling errors and said, "Mr. Lee did not pay for copy editing so, too bad, screw it" and just pushed the book through, and not care about PB's reputation.
  That's ridiculous!
  And btw, the only Line editing done on my book was the synopsis on the back cover, for over $1000?
  Regardless, ultimately it's your REPUTATION!
  I would not recommend Palmetto Publishing to anyone now, after their response on Trustpilot.

  We always want to make sure that each of our authors has a great experience. As we explained, line editing focuses on the flow of your sentences, structure, tone, etc.. It does not fix all grammatical errors. For that reason, we did recommend copy editing to accompany your services. We pride ourselves on ensuring that every author's story is told how they want it. Therefore, we can not make changes to the manuscript without the author's express permission. We do offer copy editing services for a fee to catch spelling and grammar errors if an author would like it.

  In an industry sometimes fraught with over-promising and uneven results, Palmetto Publishing smoothly delivered constant positive results. As a first-time author I had many questions and concerns. At each stage, however, Palmetto delivered professional answers and workable solutions. Julia, Cassie and their crew were immensely helpful, and always timely and professional. Important to me in the lengthy publishing process is the ability to communicate. Palmetto accomplished this seamlessly throughout the organization. Well done!!
