  On October 11, 2023 Tom Sherlock doing business as Master Paving and and Chip Seal was in the area doing driveways for some of my neighbors. He came to our home and offered to do our driveway. He explained the “chip seal” process, gave us a quote and said he could do the job the same day as he, his crew and his equipment was already in the area. He explained that it would last up to 10 years however the actual warranty was 5 years. He explained that it would eliminate the need for adding more gravel and also prevent weeds from coming through. We hired him to do the job. It took approximately 1.5 hrs to complete the job. I wrote him a check and they left. They completely numerous driveways on my street that day. Approximately a month later I noticed the “chip seal” was wearing off and weeds were coming through. As time goes on it keeps getting worse. We attempted to contact the number on the invoice/receipt I received and the number is no longer in service. I did some research and realized many others including numerous neighbors have had the same experience with the same man/company. I also discovered he either has been or is being sued in at least one county of **********

  Installed chip driveway which was to thin, grass growing through and dirt is surfacing, unable to contact with bogus tel number to have them do warranty work, no website!. Absolute crooks do not do business with them. They will come out and install subpar driveway etc but once they leave good luck having them fix anything because they are unreachable

  On ****.23 I was scammed out of $2800 for a “driveway.” This driveway that was done, has grass growing through it almost immediately. I have contacted the company due to a “warrenty” however they avoid and will not return phones calls. They even broke a culvert in my ditch, which they were to fix and have not done that either. I've made numerous attempts to have all this corrected however, these people are a complete scam.

  I am a disabled ***** and unable to do any and all work.
  
  I was told by Edward R**** that if I did this work with his company that I would no longer have any weeds or vegetation growing in my driveway. That he would make the sides of my driveway nice and straight and rid me from any and all weeds and vegetation. If I went with the chip and seal product that they have. He also told me that he would have them put down extra tar extra chip gravel to make sure that the weeds and vegetation would not grow back ever.
  
  Unfortunately, I have more weeds and more vegetation growing in my driveway then I have ever had in the 20 years that I have lived here. The sides of the driveway that he cleaned out and made nice and straight are now covered up completely with vegetation and weeds. In fact the weeds and vegetation are worse than they were prior to Edward R**** and Master Paving chip and seal. Both on the sides of the driveway and threw out the whole driveway. I have had to hire a professional lawn care service several times to spray the weeds and vegetation to kill them.. In fact the weeds and vegetation have had to be sprayed several times.
  
  I have reached out leaving several Messages with master paving chip and seals third party answering service. This is the only number that is listed for master paving chip and seal. I have also written several email and a review on their website. I have received no phone calls, No return emails or no reply to the review on their website. The third party answering service has insured me that they have sent over messages to the owner Pat R**** and others With a urgent message asking them to contact me.
  
  I would like master paving chip and seal and Edward R**** to come back and correct what they have done. Give me the product in which Edward R**** promised me The day he sold me the job. He showed up in my yard and said for $6200.00 His company would give me a 10 year maintenance warranty on the driveway from any maintenance. Including no vegetation and weeds to grow back in the driveway or on the sides of the driveway. If they need to re apply their tar and their chip gravel to make my driveway as Edward R***** and master paving chip and seal promised that would be the correct and right solution for this problem. And doing it as soon as possible. With no charge to me to correct their problem!
  
  The bill that they gave me in which I paid the day of service info of $6200.00 Has no address, no billing number, no account number, nothing.
  
  I had seen no advertising for this company. We're ****** just showed up in my drivewand walked across the yard to talk to me about his product. Which was the only product he offered me the tar and chip gravel. He said this product would solve my vegetation and weeds.
