      05/26/2022 For 4 nights. I booked through expedia and the total payment was $851.28. I then paid directly to the resort $75.00 for an early noon check in. We flew Delta and our flight was effected with an unexpected layover. This was all over the news. I went in to the office to check in and started by explaining the flight situation cause it was 2pm now. I asked if I could get the fee refunded since we didn't check in at noon. She said no and was rude about it. She said the condo has been ready for you. We approached the room and a dirty rag was laying outside. We had 4 people. My niece 15, my son 21, sister in law and myself. The condo was not ready. We had 1 blanket on the full bed, that was supposed to be a queen. The pull out couch had sheets no blankets and no blankets on the twin pull down. The place looked under construction. Our closet had flooring and the rooms had flooring not finished. Lamp in bedroom didn't work at all, fan was busted, towel rack bent, pictures hanging side ways, sand on the floor, dead cock roaches stuck in the crack of the flooring. I went in the 2nd day and said AGAIN we need blankets. The blankets brought to our room were hard brown blankets in packages. The bedding on the bed wasn't even what was pictured. The cooler provided was rusty and the beach chairs as well. Coffee pot was nasty. Worst part I burnt my fingers on the outside handle to the stove while making a pizza. The Manager was talking to a family that booked a studio for 6 people. The manager said, you need a 2 bedroom let me upgrade you for free. I wondered if it was cause I was white. She was African American and helping an african american family. We were woken up several times cause security wasn't handling the bikers blaring music at 4am. We were celebrating my son and niece for their birthdays, first time here and it was horrible. I have reached out and even Expedia tried getting me a refund and the office manager is rude and said she can't do anything.
