    We rented for a week through airbnb at the Anderson Ocean Club from July 31 through Aug 6 2022. Oceanfront guru managed the property. After checking in we discovered that the dryer did not work. I called the after hour maintenance number and left a message. I did not hear back that day. The next day called again and left a message without any response. Finally contact the Oceanfront guru office and spoke to Matrix. He was aware that the dryer was not working prior to our arrival, and due to supply shortage issues the dryer would not be fixed during our stay. Since the ad for the unit stated that it had a working washer and dryer, and the inconvenience of having to go to a laundromat to do our clothes, Matrix agreed to reduce the rental cost by $389.15. He informed us that we would need to log into the airbnb website and confirm the change in reservation. When we attempted to accept the change, an error message appeared and informed us that we needed to reach out to our host. Matrix informed us that it was an airbnb issue and to contact them. After numerous communications, we were informed we needed to file for a refund. We did and Matrix and Oceanfront guru only refunded $100 instead of the $389.15 they agreed to refund. We ask for the total amount agreed be refunded.

    Mr. **********, was greeted professionally and politely. We explained to him clearly that there was another laundry option onsite and available to him. We never at any time offered such a large refund for a dryer not working. As a curtsy we gave $100 discount which is significantly more than he spent on the coin laundry facility.He is not entitled to a refund of any kind per his rental agreement. He has received a discount for the inconvenience, we consider this case closed.

    We were never informed of any other laundry options. We have not received any ammount in refund from Oceanfront guru. The refund was offered and was entered by Oceanfront guru in the airbnb app. How does Oceanfront guru explain the screenshot of the airbnb app showing the agreed upon refund offered? None of their response is truthful or based on fact.

    We checked with AIRBNB AND CONFIRMED WITH THEM THAT THE GUEST RECEIVED A $110 DISCOUNT.
