    They should not be funded as someone previously stated. I went to see about getting me a beautiful kitten. Went through the process filled out the paperwork honestly. But what i didn't like was the fact they had a go between to ask me questions through the process, instead of talking directly to me. When they were finished they told me i was denied bc i WORKED and that i lived too far..I live 3 hours from myrtle ******* But that wasnt the case..i was discriminated against bc I'm BLACK. And for those saying that was not the case prove me wrong. And please before you respond or post. Make sure you put the REAL reason. Not bc i live far and work!!

    They should not be funded. I was trying to take a fur baby home and they were making the adoption process harder. If i have an approved application and i am willing to pay to get my baby neutered and show u the receipt so i can take her home. GIVE HER TO ME. It makes no sense to stop an animal from a loving home. I tried to speak with a manager and she was busy all of the time and didnt have the decency to check on the issue at all. As a non profit worker, they should not be funded anymore because clearly the funds are not allocated efficiently.
