    They will drain your pocket if they can. Drug test you. Make up fake results to retest you for more money. Once again, I had to come all the way to the office to give them paperwork that my employer needed to be completed. They were faxed the same paperwork over three months ago and failed to complete and send it back. This is putting my job on the line as I received notice from my employer about loosing my job if this paperwork was not completed in ten days. I have lost count of how many times SSI has failed to complete follow-up paperwork. I gave them the document a week ago and they have still not bothered to take ten minutes to complete it. They tell me it takes two weeks to complete yet this has been ongoing for 3 months. I am astounded at how incompetent the follow through is at this place. Every time records or any other documentation has been requested from any entity, the Spine Institute flat out ignores any and all request. The last time I demanded to have the paperwork filled out while I waited, it only took 20 minutes. If they wanted to, they could get your request handled in a timely manner. At my last visit, I was conversing with several patients in the main waiting area and they all seem to have experienced the same lack of care from their providers. Many times, I wait just around one hour after my scheduled appointment time in just the main waiting area. After I am finally called to be taken to the back area, I wait around another hour, alone in a small exam room, before anyone whatsoever speaks to me. Then I have another minimum hour before I get out of the building. Also I have been billed for in excess of $700 that I was not responsible for. I knew it and so did the Spine Institute. They even threaten to discontinue my care if I do not pay up. I was able to get a representative from my insurance to address this matter with their financial department but getting someone to actually look into the matter was more difficult than patient records.
