The last time I demanded to have the paperwork filled out while I waited, it only took 20 minutes. If they wanted to, they could get your request handled in a timely manner. At my last visit, I was conversing with several patients in the main waiting area and they all seem to have experienced the same lack of care from their providers. Many times, I wait just around one hour after my scheduled appointment time in just the main waiting area. After I am finally called to be taken to the back area, I wait around another hour, alone in a small exam room, before anyone whatsoever speaks to me. Then I have another minimum hour before I get out of the building. Also I have been billed for in excess of $700 that I was not responsible for. I knew it and so did the Spine Institute. They even threaten to discontinue my care if I do not pay up. I was able to get a representative from my insurance to address this matter with their financial department but getting someone to actually look into the matter was more difficult than patient records.
