    On November 30, 2024, our party of ten senior citizens dined at Gilligan’s Seafood Restaurant, 582 Dock Rd, Moncks Corner, SC 29461. Four senior citizens were Veterans. When presented with the bill we asked if they provided Military Discount which they answered yes. We asked when the waiter received one of the Veterans credit cards which was placed in the mobile card payment machine. We asked whether he provided the Military discount, and he stated he had to ask his supervisor. When the waiter returned, he stated his supervisor stated it was too late because his card was already in the machine. We did not receive the Military Discount they stated they provide to Veterans. Would like to receive the Military Discount as promised.

    We issued this discount in the form of a $20 refund after the card payment has processed, when we were made aware of the issue.  There was some confusion in in the explanation and not wanting the card to be voided and ran again at the time of payment.  We would have gladly clarified with the customer given the opportunity before leaving.  We offer military OR senior citizen discounts at the customers request.  Server felt the customer didn't want payment canceled to do so.

    I am rejecting this response because: The business discount of $20 does not cover the Military or Senior Citizens discount promised since our bill was $367.90. Of the ten seated were 9 Seniors and 4 of the Seniors were Veterans. Please provide the necessary discount as promised.
