    I hired The Beam Team through ***** Movers. On 6/7/25, I paid $239.96 to hire them for my move on 6/21/25. The reservation was for 4 hours. I called the Beam Team the same day and they said they weren't available until noon. I reserved my truck from 11am-5pm with the movers coming from 12pm-4pm. At 11:55am on the day of moving I was told, "The team is still completing their previous move and is running behind schedule. ETA 1-2pm" They did not show up until 2pm at my apartment. I had to get other friends to help so that we could stay on schedule with the truck. The movers loaded up, went to my new house (5 min drive) and unloaded. The job was done at 4pm. I texted the company at 4pm and said, "The movers are done so it was only 2 hours. I need a refund for 2 hours." The response was, "Refund will be issued promptly. Thank you for again for considering our services and we apologize for the mixup today!" So because I was told in writing that I would receive a refund, I gave them the payment code. I had called ***** Movers during the move and they also told me that I could request a refund after the move. After a couple days, I called, texted and emailed the company. No response. I filed a dispute with ***** Movers and The Beam Team responded on 6/24/25, "Your refund has been processed on our end. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days to reflect in your account." On 6/27/25 I requested proof of this refund. The Beam Team again responded, "Your refund has been processed on our end. Depending on your bank, it may take a few business days to reflect in your account." Once again, I asked for proof and a 3rd time received the same response. Then I realized they don't have my credit card information to issue a refund. I reached back out to ***** Movers who agreed with me and then wrote to the Beam Team on my behalf telling them to issue a refund in another method. They did not respond. I texted with my ***** and I received no response or refund.
