    We dropped my daughters prom dress off on 4/18/23 to have alterations done. Kimmy the owner quoted $150 for the price. When we came in on 4/22/23 to pick it up she went to tell us how much work she had done to the dress and wanted to change the price to $250 . When we said no we were going to pay her what she quoted. We paid her the $150 dollars and took the dress home. When we got home the lace she was paid to fix was ripped again. My wife went to fix it before my daughters prom. When my wife lifted the dress from the inside she saw there was blood all over the inside of the dress. I made contact with Kimmy on 4/25/23 she flat out said the rip and the blood was not her problem and went on to say how rude we was for not paying her more money. She even said that the blood was probably my wife’s blood or my daughter was on her period. I can not explain how unprofessional this is and someone like this to be operating a business. Then she called me back and threaten me that if I complain to the BBB that I better be positive it is her blood. There is no other possibility than to be her blood. I do wish for this to be addressed so other people will not be treated this way.

    Thank you BBB for reaching out.  I received the dress in question on Tuesday the 18th of April for a prom on Saturday the 22nd.  I worked extra hours to complete the dress which they picked on the 22nd at 9am, even though the promised pickup time was to be at 5pm.  I am normally open Tuesday-Friday, and I I work well into the evenings during the Spring Rush.  Regarding the blood on the dress, this was on the inner liner of the dress on the lower part.  I didn't alter any of the fabric here (Length of dress) as the alterations were in the waist and bust.  Because of the dress construction I had to alter the dress from the waist vs being able to turn it inside out and it is highly unlikely that I got blood in the area in question as I didn't even prick myself while working on the dress.  I consider this matter settled and there will be no billing adjustment for a dress that took 5 hours to complete, when most prom dresses can be altered in around 3 hours (dress was extremely complex in the construction).
