      I purchased a 2012 Jeep Compass on 1/6/2023 from Robert Lee E**** Jr. I paid $4,200 in cash. I have only seen the vehicle twice since the date of purchase. A few hours after purchasing the vehicle the vehicle started cutting off. I then contacted the seller who advised me that he would pick up the vehicle the next day to fix it being that he is also a mechanic. I was told that the vehicle had a 90-day warranty. The next day the dealer picked up the vehicle he later advised me that he has to take it to the dodge dealership to be fixed. After weeks went by and I contacted the dealer I was told the vehicle was in the shop (dodge dealership) to get the issues fixed. I was given the run around for 6-7 weeks straight as far as where the vehicle was located. I contacted the seller again who advised me numerous times that he would have to get me another vehicle. I then asked for my money back instead of the vehicle and I was told a few times by the seller that he would meet with me to refund my money. He then started to avoid me. After advising him that I'm going to have to handle this in a legal way, I was told by the dealer to take him to court, and he hung up the phone on me. It has now been 3 months and I still don't have the vehicle or my money back. I have filed a lawsuit and charges against the dealer. I have all texts between the seller and I as well as my call log as proof of purchase since I don't have all my receipt and paperwork. All of the vehicle's documents are in the glovebox of the vehicle because that's where the dealer told me it needed to stay until I received my title. This issue has still not been resolved.
