We purchased a fridge that stopped working with 30 days of delivery, the company agreed to send a technician out and scheduled it 5 different times and nobody showed up this continued for two weeks. After calling daily, they finally agreed to honor their warranty and replace the fridge which took another week because they missed the appointment twice.

After delivering the new fridge, it still was not cooling and I advised them within 24 hours. They then agreed to send another tech who came, took a photo and repaired nothing. This company seems to have a pattern based on their many reviews

They offer a warranty on these appliances but when it comes to replacing them it never happens. Seems as though they give dud appliances just enough TLC to sell them and scam people out of their money. Nobody in this store has a clue what they are doing and they all sound miserable when you call. Even the owner himself has no desire to help.

      Business Response

      Date: 04/10/2023

Partially true yes.  The store manager that worked here no longer works here as of last week after being confronted by the owner about taking accountability and responsibility for his actions.  Since then the owner has taken control and handled all issues that were what seems intentionally created by the manager who no longer works here.
in this particular case the owner got involved immediately when brought to his attention. As per policy and procedure of the business we repair or replace said appliance under our warranty. This customer didn’t want any of the other refrigerators available to chose from ( 54 units) and demanded a refund, however the owner pointed out that the policy was to replace the refrigerator as they made a purchase of a used appliance under a A refund policy but with a warranty attached. They reluctantly picked out a stainless steel refrigerator that was priced for the same amount as original purchase. As per the owners demand the refrigerator was plugged in and ice cold for the client to witness before delivery.
Fast forward to delivery day.  2 days later.  The drivers are at the residence. It is raining. They are forced to take the doors off to fit into the house as they do many times per week. They disassemble the doors and stuff the hardware in the refrigerator door as they do every single time as a quick convenient  way of keeping up with the screws and hinges until they get the doors inside to reassemble.  Now here the driver and assistant have taken the doors off and placed the hardware in the crisper drawer in the refrigerator and carried it inside and set the refrigerator in the kitchen. Hardware still in the drawer. The husband is there on the outside and the wife is there on the inside with kids. The driver and assistant go back outside and grab the doors and bring them inside to the kitchen. When the arrive the top drawer is open and the hinge for the right side and the screws are missing. The bottom crisper drawer is still closed and the hinge and screws for the left side are still there. Also during the time the driver was outside with the assistant the wife suddenly leaves the house and does not return while the driver and assistant are there. The driver and assistant are propelled and confused because they just took those hinges and placed them in the drawers. Left side in the bottom drawer and right side in the top drawer. Now the top drawer is open and the hardware is gone and the wife just left suddenly. so the driver and assistant literally spend an hour looking for the hardware that is nowhere to be found. It wasn’t disassembled out in the yard or anything like that but rather in the back of a 16 ft box truck with solid hardwood flooring and clear lighting.nowhere the hardware could have gone because they clearly followed repatriation and habit and placed the hardware in separate drawers which is now gone.
The wife that didn’t want any of the other used stainless steel refrigerators and instead wanted a refund is now claiming that we refund her because we didn’t provide the right side hinge and screws.
well, there is only one logical explanation and I instructed the husband to simply put his hinge on himself because we know they had to have taken the hardware from the drawer when the driver was outside in order to orchestrate this whole ordeal.
I do agree however that unfortunately these clients were put off and delayed by the previous manager who is no longer here however the owner made sure they picked out similar value refrigerator that they agreed on and he made sure that they saw the refrigerator ice cold ( still is) and now they suddenly have this situation.
Our resolution is simple. We rely on our policy and procedure. We suggest this client put their hinge on and quit with the fiascos.  There is no other plausible or possible answer. Thank you.
