Terrible experience! … I am a top local dog sitter with multiple clients who have been bringing their dogs here for years. In fact, I’ve recommended this facility due to my clientele.
One occasion changed everything!! After driving an hour stuck behind an accident, I called and sat on the phone for 13 minutes with a women who continued to tell me “there’s nobody that can stay” for the 15 minutes I needed. They close at 6, mind you, and we were still on the phone at 6:13. I continued to point out that she was sitting right there talking to me at the front desk while I was driving; clearly someone was able to wait an extra 2 minutes. She then hung up on me before arrival and forced the client to keep her dogs overnight. They then had the audacity to charge them for the service!?! … Upon pick up the next morning, I questioned the owner as to why they would not have any exception for a client who has been coming to you for years? I was firm, yet calm, and specifically waited till there was no other clients in the building. She proceeded to tell me she would speak to the representative about hanging up, yet kept making excuses as to why she couldn’t wait the 2 minutes to pick up the dogs. She then went on to tell me they actually live on facility when I questioned how they’re keeping dogs overnight without anyone there to check on them. So you’re right there on location, yet still unable to accommodate a loyal client 2 whole minutes?? Unacceptable! ….
Beyond this, my client received notice that I am no longer welcome to drop off or pick up her dogs from the facility. Let me reiterate, I have been dropping off and picking up her dogs without issue for 2+ years; only thing I did was question how the situation was handled. Be warned, if you have any sort of issue they will ban you instead of resolving their own error. After this altercation, I advise everyone to think twice about using this facility regardless of said accreditation. These practices are a huge red flag!
