    I purchased a hotel through BringFido as I was looking for a more efficient way to find hotels that were dog friendly on my trip. It should be known, that BringFido is also a partner with *******.
    Upon arrival to the hotel, the outside was rundown, but I checked in thinking the room would be better. There were bugs and clumps of dust all around the bed, the sheets and blankets were stained, it looked like someone had thrown up behind the bed, cleaned it up but there was still a stain. The lock on the door kept giving an error message, the shelving in the bathroom was broken, visible cobwebs and dust in the corners of the room, there were people in the parking lot opening smoking weed, and the TV didn't work.
    I left immediately. I asked for a refund from the front desk they the manager was gone. When I called Monday (8/25) hotel staff yelled at me, screamed that the room was clear, and hung up on me. They also refused to connect me to the manager and kept telling me he wasn't there.
    Fast forward, three days later, calls to *******, *******, and BringFido. Each denies they can't help me. Bring Fido states that they cannot help me because the hotel declined to refund the charge despite all the issues I listed. Jill, from BringFido admitted that the reviews outside of the BringFido app are damning, and everyone reports the same sort of problems, including rude staff and an unavailable manager.
    Ciera M from BringFido says they can't do anything, the hotel declined and the room was nonrefundable. Despite pointing out that the product was no where near as described and I checked out of the hotel immediately, they refused to refund the money.
    BringFido is preying on customers who care enough about their pets to want to bring them along. They offer no recourse or process when the product is not as described. Upon looking them up here, I see that they are many issues. Please save yourself the headache. They are a scam.

    Our website is a database of pet-friendly hotels, and we do our best to represent the hotels on our website accurately. Some are definitely more upscale than others, but we ask every customer on our website to leave accurate reviews of their stay so that future travellers can get a realistic picture of what each hotel is like.
    Yes, we at BringFido facilitated the charge for your booking at the ******. While our name is on your bank statement, the funds that were processed through us went to the ****** in order to pay for your room with them. While we process the funds, they do go to the hotel as they are the property that you will be staying at. If the ****** is unwilling to process a refund, then we cannot send the funds back to you as they are now with the hotel. Unfortunately, the ****** is within their rights to deny the refund as the cancellation policy on your booking stated:
    Cancellation Policy
    Please note that this rate is 100% non-refundable. If you change or cancel this reservation, you will not receive a refund from the hotel.
    We at BringFido did our best to convince them to process you a refund as you stated that you did not use the reservation due to the unsanitary conditions of the property. The ****** denied our request, and that is when we notified you that we would not be able to process the refund.
    I also wanted to mention that you are correct that we're partnered with ******* along with other major booking providers. This is so we can provide as many pet-friendly options as possible to our customers and I'm sorry to hear about any misinformation that was provided to you. We are not trying to misrepresent ourselves or our affiliation with *******. We are not trying to misrepresent ourselves or our affiliation with *******.
    We would completely understand if you chose to dispute this charge with your card provider. If we can be of any assistance to you in disputing the charge, please just let us know what documentation your bank might need from us and we would be happy to send that over.

    READ CAREFULLY!

    Will take 100% of your money with no cancellation seconds after you click.
    Look on their website and call the hotel direectly.

    We did respond back to Mr. ******* shortly after he emailed our team regarding the cancellation of the reservation. The reservation was non-refundable but our team was able to contact the property for a penalty waiver. A full refund was granted to the reservation in question after the hotel approved the penalty waiver.
    Cancellation policies do vary by property as well as by rate type. Some rates are non-refundable which wouldn't allow a refund at the time of cancellation even if it was just seconds after booking. This bad review was posted prior to our team getting involved with the refund request.
