    I attended TLC & Bella's Academy of Cosmetology from April 12th, 2022 up until June 8, 2022, as a nail technology student. The tuition was $2500, and of that $1800 was paid. I was withdrawn from the program due to the owner Angela ********-L** stating that I committed a crime. The crime being that I recorded conversations between her and I. This was done because Mrs. ********* L** had previously gone back on her word. On June 8, 2022 Angela wanted me to sign withdrawal papers stating that I did in fact commit a crime. I refused because it is legal for me to record any conversation that I am apart of. There was a contract in place that stated if I completed less than 50% of the class that I am entitled to a 50% refund. Angela refuses to provide me with a refund. Also, the original contract that I signed Angela will not provide me with. Instead she provided me with a contract that has my signature forged. Angela openly admitted to one of her hired employees forging my signature (have on video). I am requesting a full refund due to my contract not being valid. Again, Angela refuses to provide me with a refund.

    This student actually left with a balance and isn't OWED A DIME.She has slandered my name and business as if to bully me into a refund. NO REFUND IS OWED , IN FACT SHE OWES OVER $700 to our school.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The owner does not have a copy of my original contract. Instead she has a copy of a contract with a forged signature.  She openly admitted this on video that a hired employee of forged my signature.  I do not owe $700 for the month of June because I attended less than 5 days in June and was involuntarily withdrawn. I was withdrawn from the business on false accusations that I committed a crime.
