    ******* ****** apartments under vista capitol management group has had many issues over the past year I have lived in the apartments since October 2019 spending thousands of dollars in rent Over the course of the time the apartments changed management replacing 1 insufficient managers for another Every time a new manager comes in they provide different information to the tenants Since being in the apartment, the complex has changed from being under the housing authority to just being income based. The most recent management sent me a letter saying after review of my ledger I owed $30 plus my months rent that had to be paid by the 15th of the month. After I paid that amount new management sent me a letter 12/21 stating the same thing except now I had a past due balance of $951. They informed me that the previous letter addressed to my full name and using my apartment number(physical address), was “the wrong one.” After I disagreed, they informed me they were filing evictions against me, to not contact them anymore or pay anymore money until court proceedings. They then sent another letter stating to pay all funds due by the 15th of January to prevent evictions. On the 18th a manager knocked on my door to inquire about the past due amount. I have never had balance issues in the complex and have paid rent as informed through the office placing letters on my door. During the change of management no one answered any calls returned any calls or assisted with any maintenance issues. It took 3months for me to get my oven and air fixed. There are several tenants having monetary disputes with management due to lack of communication. They claim to have reached out to me multiple times but only called one time to claim the ledger was re-reviewed and a new balance was due and never addressed any of the previous voicemails of me inquiring about my balance due for rent. I have three children and currently in the process of finding a home to prevent us from being on the streets.

    The Housing Authority processed an interim as a result of an income change which adjusted the tenant’s rent.   

    Notices were sent to the resident of the rent change and resulting balances owed.  

    The tenant did not pay any rent for several months.  Consequently, an eviction was filed and granted.

    I have documentation of them telling me one amount different from the amount on the eviction papers. I also have documentation where they told me not to pay anything until we go to court.
