I had a terrible experience with this company. I bought and paid $1899.00 for 294 sq. feet several months before I needed it to assure there would be no deliays. When I went to pick up the tile, they said t2hey had moved it to another location, and would deliver it that night, which they didn't. Then the next day they said there was a death and they couldn't deliver. They would not communicate with me all week, after I offered to pick it up. I finally got to pick it up on Friday, and it was not enough. It was 20 boxes of 4 pcs per box each piece being 8" X48". I could not convince the co owner, Patti, that it was short. It actually took me about 2 weeks to resolve this. She never would talk to me verbally, even though I asked her to call me. She would not give me an explanation of why she didn't think it was short. She kept saying it had 15.50 sq ft per box. I finally called the manufacturer and learned that they had recently started shipping 6 pcs per box. I finally got my contractor to call her and she answered his call, and hung up on him when she found out he was calling about my order. Her husband was in the car and called him back. He agreed there was a shortage, and said he would order the balance of 40 pcs. It took three weeks to get the shortage shipped from Florida. The whole experience was a nightmare, and I would never use this business again.

Miss ****, this was a supplier issue, not a Palmetto Flooring issue - you know this very well. The supplier changed the box sizes and sent the wrong materials. After checking their inventory they realized their mistake and made it right with you. Palmetto Flooring was not responsible for another company’s mistake although we gladly helped resolve the issue & the materials have been delivered to you.

Patti did nothing gladly, and because I was a Palmetto Flooring customer, it was their issue to solve. I had to call the manufacture to find out about the change in box size. Otherwise, Patti would have never believed it was short. It was only when she hung up on my contractor when she found out he was calling about my order, that her husband happened to be in the car, and called him back and admitted that there was indeed a shortage, and he helped resolve the issue. I have never been treated as badly by a vendor a I was by Patti, and I will never use the company again. I have no interest in dealing with them about this anymore. I just wanted to report this poor customer service, and maybe save someone else the stress I went through with this purchase.
