I needed a concrete pad for the two car metal garage I was having erected and made Nu construction came and poured just a a square 4” thick pad. After the permit office inspector came and inspected it he immediately failed it and said it was supposed to have a 12”footing with rebar all the way around it. Now the permit office made me hire a third party engineer which cost me $1800 to show Made Nu construction what was supposed to be done. I texted Dusty S**** at Made Nu and sent him the plans from the engineer and he said he always pours this type of slab and wasn’t sure what the engineer wanted. It was clear in the plans. Then he said maybe I should contact the permit office and see if they know someone who could fix it and then never returned my text or calls again. Then I had to get an another company to fix it for about $9500 after paying him about $5700. People should know that this company does not always follow codes and this could happen to them. Beware!

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

The reason I won’t accept his story is still because he did not follow Oconee county codes and it doesn’t matter if ****** sheds sent him here or I was standing there watching him. He should have found out what the codes are before pouring anything. Also Steel Structures has the codes listed in there plans which my new concrete guy followed after contacting them which is what he should have done.

      Regards,
