November 4, 2022 Spent over $1300 in work performed by mechanics at Fisher’s Garage. Sent my fiancés Lexus SC400 in for a “no start” that ended up being the starter. We had the vehicle towed by Fisher’s towing company and were notified the next day the cost would be $1150 for the starter to be repaired. A week later we get a phone call that they are now waiting on gaskets and hoses from the Lexus dealership because some just “looked rough”. Once the car was finally received and the hoses and gaskets were allegedly in, the car had a new issue of rapidly overheating and leaving a massive puddles of coolant where it was parked to cool off. My fiancé contacted JP at Fisher’s garage and his response was simply “we fixed the starter and that’s the issue you brought it here for”. Obviously, that’s why we brought it in as it didn’t have this massive overheating issue where it also deposits coolant everywhere. This is the second run in with this shop as I was hoping they would redeem themselves after screwing my car up just the same, a little over a year ago. There is no evidence of new gaskets or hoses anywhere under the hood, as all the hoses sit at the top of the engine bay.
