Terrible company to do buisness with, very hard to get ahold of anyone! They are also very high priced compared to other options.

Thoroughly unpleasant company to deal with. Their employees are rude and unprofessional. The adjuster I dealt with was immature and boorish. I hate to think of the trouble I would have had in claims resolution if I had not employed an attorney.

Canal Insurance's valuation method is flawed. My car was struck by a truck driver insured by Canal Insurance on an interstate highway. I was traveling at the speed limit of 70 mph. The trucker was likely driving at least 75 mph. The trucker was overtaking my vehicle, and drifted or turned into my lane, striking the side of my vehicle. The 18-wheeler spun my car around three or four times. Fortunately our vehicle did not turn over. My spouse and I were extremely lucky to have survived. The truck driver received a citation from the Virginia State Police. Canal Insurance's method of valuation for my vehicle was unfair and unjust. I did not receive true, fair, and just compensation to enable me to replace my vehicle without me paying additional.oney out of my pocket. They also refused to negotiate in good faith even though I provided detailed information to counter their low-ball compensation.

Canal intimates there customer who have valid claims. On 5/27/2022 our company truck ran over an object on Interstate 10 in Louisiana. I file a claim against my own insurance policy that I paid 33000 a year for. It’s 4 months later and Canal has refused to pay. My crankshaft broke due to object punctured my oil pan.
The burden of proof is on Canal, but instead they want to defame our company’s character. Insult this veteran owned company by requesting our personal and corporate bank statements, call logs, and credit card statements. Canal is faking to make it in the Trucking industry while they continue to steal from us truckers.
