Rented one of their houses for a year June 22 - 23. The house was in moderate shape, needing cleaning. The yards have no grass and the backyard has dead trees that drop large branches. When I moved in, the gutters were completely clogged and overflowed the first time it rained. I told the landlord about it, they claimed they were cleaned before I moved in, but would clean them again. That did not happen and each timed it rained, the gutters overflowed.There was a plumbing issue with the pipe that goes out to the street. The plumber pulled out a huge chunk of roots from the tree next to the pipe. The landlord said they would be sure to *********** I moved out. Not sure they did and if they didn't, the next person who rents will have the same thing happen.When I was ready to move out, I requested a punch list of what to do. I did not get one. (After my move, I found a copy in my original paperwork. Would have liked it if they had just reminded me of that or sent another copy when I asked). I received a phone call the week I was moving to let me know what I should do. That was not a full list as I later found out. I also asked for a final walkthrough but was told no. I received a call from the company about 1.5 weeks after I moved out to tell me one of the faucets in the laundry room for the washer leaked causing damage. I was surprised at that and also that no one had checked the house until then.So I was a bit upset to find out they were holding back over $900 of my deposit. Some of it was my responsibility and I had already told them of those items. But since I was denied a final walk through it was hard for me to dispute what they listed. And in no way did the things listed cost this much money. They company would not give me a list of the costs/item.Very frustrated about this.
