    I was accepted to Coastal Carolina University but never registered for any classes, never attended, and never used any campus services. I ultimately enrolled at another university (UCCS) and made no commitment to Coastal.Around a year ago, I received a phone call from a Coastal representative who told me that as long as I did not attend classes or use any services, I would not be charged. I followed that exactly.Despite that, I recently received a letter stating I owe $4,185. When I contacted Student Accounts, I was told the charge remains because a professor never reported my non-attendance. However, I never personally registered for any coursesI believe the university automatically enrolled me without my knowledge or consent.I never signed any agreement or confirmed enrollment, and I was not made aware of any charges until now. This appears to be a billing error resulting from an internal administrative process.I am requesting that this charge be removed, my account cleared, and written confirmation provided that no collections or credit reporting will occur.
