I ordered a kayak for $260.00 from Tucktec in September 2024 and received it 12-26-24. I returned it unused in excellent condition with the *** return label provided by Tuckteck which *** tracking shows they received on February 10, 2025. I am expecting a full refund. I have not yet received my refund per their advertised return policy on Tucktecs website.This advertised policy promised a prompt refund to my credit card. I have received two email replies from **** in customer service (after many emails) apologizing for the delay in accounts payable. (dated March 17 and April 16) but no refund has been issued to the credit card that I purchased with (nor have I received a check.)Business Response

Purchased a kayak and fishing bundle from Tucktec in May 2024 for $342.75. Tried it once and decided to return it. Per their return policy this entitles me to a full refund. I requested a return and used the shipping label they provided to return everything. Within 1 week of sending the return Tucktec confirmed receipt of the return but said there were delays in processing refunds. This story was repeated when I called/emailed them in September. I gave them time to get things together because I understand they're a small business. I contacted them again in December, stating that I felt the refund timeline was getting unreasonable and did not hear anything again. Again, I wanted to wait and give them a chance to make things right. I have checked my bank transactions today (3/28/25) and have not received any form of compensation or refund. On July 4, 2024, I ordered 2 kayaks and some accessories that totaled over $700. l received them at the end of July. We took them out successfully once or twice but then they both started buckling in on the sides and bottom. The side buckled on one of them so bad that it took on water and I had to keep my hand pressed on the side to keep from sinking. I had to be towed to shore. I contacted the company, and they sent 2 replacement kayaks. When I put together the replacement kayaks at home before taking them out, one of the rivets popped right through the plastic on one of the kayaks. I contacted them again and they sent another replacement right away. Unfortunately, this one had a missing rivet. After all the problems we had, I decided I didn't want to try again and asked for a refund. They sent return labels for the kayaks and accessories, and we got them sent back beginning of October. I confirmed with them that they received them, and they replied that they had and that the refund would take 2-3 weeks to process. We hadn't received our refund by November 7, so I emailed them inquiring about it and they said they were running behind but would check into it. I still didn't receive the refund in mid-January, so I emailed them again. They apologized, said they didn't know why I hadn't received it, and said they would email accounts payable to check on it. That is the last time I heard from them. I emailed several times since and tried calling several times, and left a voicemail message, but still have not heard back from them and still have not received my refund.Business Response

I purchased this product on January 12, 2025. The box was opened and taped back up again, the product was not used and I asked for a return on January 23, 2025. The product was shipped back and received on February 12, which the business confirmed receipt of. I was told refunds take 2-3 weeks to process. On 11/7/24, I ordered a folding kayak from this company for $333.52. At the time, the estimated delivery length on the website was 2 weeks. A month later on 12/7/24, I reached out to try to get a status update and got no response. I left multiple voicemails and attempted contacting them on social media trying to get information and cancel my order. I finally got a response via email but when I asked how long a refund would take. As of today, 3/7/25 I have not received a response, a refund, or the product. In June 2024, I ordered a kayak for $279.20 and after a few uses, a supporting rod broke and rendered the kayak unusable as it would cave in and nearly cause a full sinking. I emailed them and asked for a refund, which they accepted. I had then returned the kayak using their shipping label they sent, tracked the order to see they did receive it, but nothing. I shipped the order in December 2024 and after several emails asking them about my refund, they suddenly have gone quiet, even though they had responded several times before. They didnt honor their return/refund policy which they so obviously brag about. Im highly disappointed and feel robbed. Looking on ****** reviews shows this is common.Business Response
