      To Receivable Solutions LLC

Today, Feb 10th 2025, I received a collections bill from you. The file number is ******** & the amount is for $10,436.97. This is a false claim and I am told you should have Never sent me this in the 1st place. I am thinking you are just trying to steal from anyone you can.

I had medical services in Feb 2024 at ******* Regional Hospital and I had full coverage medical insurance at this time. Almost a year later, I received a bill from ******* Regional. I call and speak to the cashier Marissa at ******* Regional. I speak with the billing manager Krystal M***** and also Leslie S***** , who tell me not only do I not owe this bill, I was also told you should never had sent me a collection notice for this bill at all. I am told you are in full knowledge that I do not owe this , but you still sent me a collection notice. I am very sure this would be considered against the law.

I call today, Feb 10th and speak with Dawn at Receivable Souloutions LLC and she tells me that it is on "hold' and she is aware of a billing problem with the "Old System" at ******* Regional. And I ask why did I get this collection bill and she did not really have a good answer for it.

So that is why I am filing this complaint. Your company is trying to collect money from me that I do not owe and you knew that I did not owe it.

I am attaching the bill from you that came in the mail to me today.
I am also attaching emails from the billing dept at ******* Regional.

      Thank you

Found out that I had a medical bill that supposedly was sent to me and now its with Receivables Solutions, a "debt collector". Call them to work out a payment plan. We agreed on one and I asked if I will receive documentation confirming the payment plan. He said they don't do that. I asked if I will receive an email confirming my payments every month and he said they don't do that. I find this very shady and makes me feel that I am dealing with scammers. I did confirm with the hospital if they are legit and they said yes and they have no control over their practices. So I have to do auto-pay but I will not be given any paperwork confirming anything. This is unheard of and breaking Federal Debt Collection regulations.

Please be advised that every consumer that sets up a payment arrangement receives a Notice of Intent to Draft sent 3-10 days prior to being processed. This is sent via text as they have opted that to be their primary source of contact.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 10/21/2024

I am rejecting this response because: Off the bat, what you have stated was not followed by your employee. I did not receive an "Intent of Draft" 3 to 10 days prior. The first payment was being processed the following day of which I disputed.

This is very simple. Unless you are a Mom and Pop shop, there is no reason documentation cannot be sent to me outlining the payment plan that was agreed on. Once I receive the paperwork via mail or email, I will release the block from my bank and start making payments.

Let me be clear, I wish to pay this debt that was sprung on me. I just need to protect myself. I consulted a lawyer that works for a debt collection place and he even says this is very shady.

Just send me my paperwork and the payments can start.

      Sincerely,
      Ivan A******

      While
we can understand the consumer’s concern, the first draft was taken over the
phone by our agent.  All information was relayed to the consumer and all
disclosures were provided.  Any future payments would receive a notice of
intent to draft letter which would outline the payment and date of the agreed
payment that is to be withdrawn.  To further hope to assist the consumer,
we will also be sending to him validation of the accounts to his address so
that he has all the information needed with regards to these accounts.
      Thank you.

      Customer Answer

      Date: 10/22/2024

I am rejecting this response because:

      From the Debt Collection Rule

What is a debt collection validation notice?
When a debt collector first communicates with you, or shortly thereafter, they’re generally required to provide certain information about the debt. When the information is provided in writing or electronically, it is called a validation notice, and it will generally include information like:
Name and mailing information of the debt collector
Name of the creditor to whom the debt is owed
Account number (if any) associated with the debt
An itemization of the current amount of the debt that reflects interest, fees, payments, and credits since a particular date that you may be able to recognize or verify with records
The current amount of the debt as of when the validation notice is provided
Information about your debt collection rights including how to dispute the debt
This notice is meant to help you identify whether you owe the debt and whether the collector’s information about the debt is accurate. The notice must include a “tear-off” form that you can send back to the debt collector to dispute the debt or take other actions.

      Sincerely,
      Ivan A******

This debt collector has called multiple times, with the most recent today at 12:05pm from telelphone number 984-***-****. Always says from Debot collector and to call 803-602-1004.

I have called them 3 times and they are looking for Johnny Potter. I tell them Johnny has not had this number in 6 years and ask them to take the number out of their system.

They always hang up right when I am finishing my request to remove the number.

They ahve called enough times that I researched to find out the Johnny Potter is 69 years old and used to run a plumbing business in NC. I found his new number and dont understand why this company cant do the same instead of calling my cell number all the time looking for him.

Receivable Solutions called me about settling a bill two weeks ago. I told them I would pay on the 1st, my payday. I told them I would pay online and they needed to send me file number etc. She carefully took my email and said she would email account info and link to pay online. On the first of June 2023 I realized I had not received the email. I can not pay the bill without account info. I called RS , the wait time was 20 minutes so I left a message. No one has responded. Now I am sure they will tell me I am default on the debt. I have tried to make payment. There is no other way to settle the bill if they do not contact me.

On or about December 20, 2023, I mailed ***** Health a check for $170.00 as a payment on my account, which should have settled the account plus partially pay on another account.

On or about 1/17/2023, I got a collection notice (********) from Receivable Solutions (RS) saying I owed $148.91 on the original account, the account that I paid in full 12/20/2022. The RS bill is a fraud.

I currently owe $230.70 on the second account. The payment could NOT have been applied to the second account.

Our office has reached out to our client to confirm where the payment that was sent by him was applied and see if it can be moved to this account so that this matter can be closed.  Since the payment was not made to our office, we do not have control over how the funds are applied.  Further, we do not have information on any other accounts for the consumer and must rely on our client to review and potentially change the posting of the payment in question.  Since a payment copy was not provided, it is unclear if the payment specifically indicated that it should be for this account and I am unsure of how my client would handle the posting of payments received.  We have placed this account on hold until we receive communication from our client on if the payment can be moved to this account per the consumer's request.  Once we have a determination by our client, we will send a communication to Mr. Bodenstein directly.  If at any time the consumer would like to discuss this matter further, he may contact our office.  The account is not subject to credit reporting or other extraordinary collection actions at this time. Thank you.

They called me from X-XXX-XXX-XXXX. I verified my address with them. She then told me I had a debt from mercy for $200 and something dollars. I asked her to send me a proof of debt. She said they had sent me letters saying that they had acquired I debt. I told her no I am requesting you to send me proof of debt. That I wanted to know exactly what the debt is for and proof that they were in charge of the debt. And by law she had to provide me with it if I asked or remove and discharge this debt. She told me they would just remove my number and hung up on me.
