  This was one of the worst compulsive decisions I've ever made! I was two weeks fresh out of a broken engagement and it was Valentines Day.... need I say more? I was not emotionally in a place to even consider another relationship but I fell prey to the "car salesman" pitch this company presented in my emotionally fragile state. I immediately regretted my decision and wrote an email and printed the letter and delivered directly to them. I was informed I'd still need to pay 50% of the signed contract total of $500! I explained I DID NOT want to participate in the process and was repeatedly told to just give it a try and that a match was in the works. Several weeks go by and no match, so I again call and say I DO NOT want a match I regret my decision to which I'm told we already sent you a match? I check my email and spam and no info was sent to which they say we will "resend" it? I reached out to the person to explain my situation and that I'm NOT looking to match and apologize only for him to say he never received MY match till after I had contacted him!!! This is a money making business that preys on people emotions! Turns out he was out of over $3,000 for his contract!! The quality of man I was matched with was someone I could have easily of found myself on FB dating or any other dating app. I can not express it enough, find love the old fashion way, meet up with people at events and places you enjoy. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

  Communication is neatly non existent.
  Matches are not appropriate
  Refuse to provide pictures of referrals
  Can not get refund
  Can not deliver the service that they sell

  These people are scammers! You'll do better on a dating site where you choose. They matched me up with people who have none of qualities I requested. I had to change match makers and they still didn't do a great job. I'm very upset that I wasted my money on this horrible service! Don't let them talk you into signing up!!! I wish I could sue them!

  Update:I paid $1000 by credit card 4/2020 after speaking to Deb.I have never met Deb or Donna.The first transaction did not go through.This must have been a warning sign!I was promised 6 matches.To my knowledge a match counts only if I meet on person.To this date,May 10, 2023 I have only had 1 meeting 11/ 2020 at a coffee shop in Bluffton.The man rudely asked me if my investment home in Bluffton had a mortgage and then he told me I should sell my home in Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island and move into my investment house in Bluffton! This is said on the first introductory meeting! He was a divorced banker renting an apartment in Ridgeland, SC. Donna who is always very sweet on the phone told me she would continue her search.Then I can not recall how much time went by when a man called me & told me that SC Matchmakers gave me my number. He was very nice but we both agreed we were not a good long term match. The 2nd man called me who drinks 3 old fashions bourbon aperitifs every night and then wine.I do not drink and this is clearly not an acceptable match for either one of us!These 2 calls were the only introductory phone calls I have received.Donna told me that I still have 5 more matches left since I never met with these men.Donna tried to set me up with a another man who loves fly-fishing.I’m an athlete who loves to stay super fit building muscle in the gym 5/6 days a week, yoga, tennis. Also I have lived in Europe between Italy&Spain for 5 years.Culture/languages are a huge part of my life as well as piano jazz/classical music/opera.Donna promised me she would call me once a month to keep me posted but so far nothing.I was told that my match would probably come from Charleston.All I can hope for is that she continues to search for a good match for me.What prompted me to write today is I finally spoke to Deb and frankly was surprised to have the phone answered by her.She listened patiently and then told me she had to go and Donna would call me. Maybe2023?We’ll see.

  I am so thankful to SC Matchmakers for finding the love of my life. After five months with Ed, things are getting serious. We have spent almost every day together for the past month because things keep progressing and we cannot stand to be apart. He is the most amazing man I have ever met and quite honestly I did meet quite a few nice guys with SC Matchmakers but they were not the one. I enjoyed meeting them all and not one turned out to be anything other than nice. Now I have been introduced to the most loving, caring, thoughtful, sensitive, and intelligent guy that truly understands me and wants only the best for me and feels as lucky to have found me as I am to have found him. I have never laughed so hard, had more fun, had more love and felt so loved as I do with him. I am not sure how SC Matchmakers selected us to meet but it was truly a match made in heaven!
